Its said he motioned lifeguards to help his son first. Which just shows how much of a devoted father he is or was. They believe he was swept under.

It's sad that it's looking like we may have lost another star too early, but if there is any positive that can be taken from this, what may have been his final act, was making sure his son was safe.

Geez. This is sad. Riptides are no joke... That man is a real G for getting his kid help. Hopefully he is alive, but depending on that wave that knocked him down and the riptide, he could have been knocked out and drowned.

Here's hoping and praying. I always liked the guy. Fingers crossed. Those rip currents are not to be messed with. Once in Mexico I was caught up in one and it was hell to get out of.

Miracles are possible, but it's not looking good.... hopefully he is washed up somewhere on some shore and is waiting to be rescued.

Unfortunately, there is no scenario where this turns out for the better. He was pushed under and swept out. The ocean is terrifying and powerful and nothing to be messed with.
RIP, big man. You never got your proper due. You should have been an even bigger star.

Absolutely terrible. My prayers are with his family now. I'm grateful his son was saved.

The man thwarts an armed robbery at a gas station from taking place years ago... and years later sacrifices his life in order to save his kid’s life while swimming... SWIMMING, and this is the thanks he gets. Holy crap, this world, and this thing called life, is an absolute joke. 2020 can 🤬 right off! 🤦♂️🙄

Damn, what an incredibly sad thing to happen to what sounds like an incredible man and father in every sense of the word. My prayers go out to his family and friends.

Last report was that his lad got rescued, but Shad's not turned up yet.
