When I was getting my podcast up and running, Shad was one of the many people contacted who were open and willing to even give me the light of day as a guest. Sadly, with conflicting schedules it became difficult to get a day nailed down. But just that few weeks being able to message Shad back and forth, he was the kindest guy I've met. I enjoyed his Cryme Tyme run because their gimmick was relatable based on where I grew up. He will always be remembered to me as the guy who entertained people with JTG weekly and the only guy to even give my little podcast any type of attention. Such a great guy.

What a sad year it's been. I hope WWE does a tem bell salute on NXT, Smackdown, and Raw, he deserves it. I really hope scalpers who have his Elite don't jack up the price on it because that's just classless if they do.

R.I.P. big man. The wrestling world mourns the loss of another great entertainer, but more importantly, the world mourns the loss of a great MAN. Of course even more importantly than that, is the loss of a husband, father, and friend. May he rest easy knowing his last act resulted in his son's life successfully being saved. Godspeed Shad....

RIP Shad.

Such a sad story. I had the chance to talk with him very briefly years ago when he was starting to put some serious focus into acting. There were rumors of a live action GI Joe movie being in the works (don’t remember if it was the first or second movie). Shad was telling me about how he was hoping the movie would happen because he wanted to audition for Roadblock.
The silver lining I guess other than his son being safe is that the body is recovered. At least his family can have some closure on the whole situation.

The Cryme Tyme vignettes before their debut were brilliant, especially the Carjacking one. Shame things went downhill in the company when the team split as they were so over with the crowd. This year really ing sucks, RIP Shad.

Terribly tragic story. This year is a flaming turd. Cryme Tyme was definitely one of the best parts of the RA Era.

It's been about $120 on the bay. Now there are 2, one at $249 and another at $400 something.

I loved when Cryme Time would break into someone's locker and then try to steal the contents of the locker.

Terrible news, I'm really gutted about this one personally. After hearing how he instructed the rescue team to rescue his son first, the man died a hero. A real life hero. Thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends!

One of my favourite WWE segments ever! Lol Triple H just doing to goofy white guy role in that is always hilarious. I thought it was too bad that CTC didn't go longer, as they worked well together with Cena. I just saw in an interview with JTG, about the speculation that Cena was the one to anonymously donate the $40,000 to Shad's family, where he said, the CTC stuff was the most fun he had in his wrestling career.
