With his untimely passing I will admit i had his ruthless figure later his deluxe figure into basic and finally his Elite series 6
I can remember putting raw tag belts on him and jtg esp when i use to use raw 2009 game to decide winners.
Wasnt a fan of deluxe so he just sat displayed.
When basic came it was the same tune raw tag belts
When i got the elite of him and jtg it was tag team title glory. Although i once had some create his heel run and at that point he was featured in a main event though the dice roll was not in his favor. Later along with a custom elite sean o haire were sold to a fellow collector when i decided to only keep actual produced superstars.
After the collection got vast he was split into one of 8 or sometime 14 brands usually filling in on mid 2000 raw brand to battle santino amd kozlov and ted dibiase and david hart.
In 2013 i remember getting the real scale hell in the cell and decided to do a 40 man elimination rumble type match and i remember having shad and jtg start the match and shad lasting til the end to fall to king booker. What was interesting is i used a 6 sided dice and if a wrestler got a one they were eliminated so for him to go til the end was interesting. But as i got older he just became a displayed piece along with jtg.
Eventually i sold them off as i have started to move into my mid 30's and want to start using money in a new direction. I hung on too a basic set but parted with them 2 weeks ago.
If his elite had been more mobile and had his heel attire look he would have stayed as he would have been way more toyetic. But because he was featured in jeans with limited movement i was afraid he would break so he was limited in my figure feds every time.
But anyone else have any stories ?

The Shad figure I used was his Deluxe one. Also have a RA version but stuck with the former. Always thought Shad had huge potential so he definitely had a prominent role in my figure feds.

I had the cryme time basic figures, which won my feds tag titles. A really solid team in WWE that I never understood why they never world the tag belts on TV.

I passed on their jakks adrenaline pack when I saw it in stores, bought it on Ebay in 2008 when they were teaming with John cena and ended up selling it in 2011. ☹

I was tempted to bring them back a couple of weeks ago because I need another tag team. I used to love Cryme Tyme but it rarely translated into figures for me, maybe now's the time

I only had the Adrenaline Cryme Time two pack. They were a pretty successful tag team in my fed back then. They were the first challengers to the Hardy Boyz (who had just won the tag titles by defeating the former champions, Heidenreich and Snitsky), and though they didn’t win the titles, they gave the Hardyz a very good fight. They would eventually win the tag titles later on, multiple times in fact. One of their reigns was pretty lengthy, and ended when the New Age Outlaws defeated them for it (I distinctly remember Gunn and Shad having an awesome sequence against each other).
A fun fact as well: Shad was rarely ever pinned. I did it on purpose, so when I split Cryme Time up (I think it was during the draft), Shad would be a credible singles guy. That’s not to say JTG wasn’t credible too, because he was a solid undercard guy, but Shad was the one I put the most work into protecting.

Bought the Cryme Tyme Elites a year or so ago, pretty happy I was able to find them at the time. Have them ranked the #32 team in my pre-draft rankings. Have yet to settle on whether to run a tag division per brand or just two organizational Tag Championships, but I am sure they will eventually enjoy success in some form.

I never had JTG, so I mainly had Shad as a heater. Best he ever did was become TV champion as a heel singles star. Whenever I contemplate restarting my fig fed with pictures, I thought about having him team with Brodus Clay and be managed by Pope as The Congregation.

I had their Jakks tag team and Mattel basics. They enjoyed moderate success. They separated after an embarrassing loss to the Brooklyn Brawler and the Genius Lanny Poffo

His success was he and JTG made it to my basics shelves. I wasn’t a fan of theirs, but I bought their first BP set on a BOGO sale.

I bought the Elite 6 Cryme Tyme when they came out, but don't recall using them all that much.
They were already broken up by the time the Elites came out, so that's probably why i didn't have much interest in using them.
If i had to guess, i probably used them from time to time as a babyface team.
Though in the fed i'm booking at the moment, they've had sporadic appearances and a Title match on PPV i believe.

I've been collection Mattel for about 7 years now and have about 340 figures. I only got round to picking up Shad and JTG about 5 days before his tragic passing.
I got the battle Pack and was thinking these guys would really boost the tag team division right now.
