Damn. My loose DM Savage is missing the hat tassel. I never knew it was supposed to have one.
Very glad I picked up Hart when I did. MOC for $120CAD. Judging by eBay right now that's a decent price.
I found DM1 Flair complete locally for $7 last year. Clearly isn't mint but still an unbelievable price.
I have another DM Hart loose but he's missing most of the accessories. Finding DM Bret accessories is much harder than finding the figure MOC.

I got DM Bret when RSC was selling loose figures for a very good price. I got HBK when the line first hit, which ended up being the gem of the set, in my opinion. The line simply became an Elite line with a bigger, cooler. Razor only had a title and a vest, which is what an Elite should have. The new Ultimate line is what that line was meant to be, in my opinion, but just more modern with less collector-friendly packaging.

I enjoyed the line, I managed to get most of them in the end. I do think the line didn't do as well as Mattel were hoping for but the figures were fairly easy to get hold of even for us here in the UK - unlike some of the newer lines at the moment. For anyone that has the entire line still MOC that would be worth a fair amount these days

I used to have Razor Ramon and Ric Flair but I traded them on here. I still have Hogan and Crow Sting

I keep hoping this line will return and replace the Ultimate Editions They're essentially the same thing though. Are you not a fan of the new articulation?

You know what really grinds my gears? The defining momemt line was really aimed at the flashback collector. Some gilden moments with some wwe legends. Bret hart, the rock, austin, hhh, hogan, then they cheaped out.
They pulled 4 really bad moves of death all one after the other that i feel murdered the line.
The ultimate warrior - he has so many defining moments, but someone at mattel thought that brick singlet was one of them. It was not...
Sting crow - amazing figure but again, sting hadnt even wrestled for wwe at this point, and his crow era was NOT a wwe defining moment.
Usa sting - same as above, it was NOT a wwe defining moment so why was it there? It was a wcw defining moment at best
Shinsuke nakamura - this one gets me the most. When this was released nakamura (in everyday wwe fand eyes) was an nxt wrestler who was close to coming to the main roster. Mattel seen an oppertunity to make more money by releasing his first figure as a wwe defining moment, which was a total joke because he hadnt really had any moment at this point, certainly not a defining one in wwe. So after 4 not very defining moments figures mattel pretty much killed the line.
With stupid....stupid moves like this they will kill any lines that they dont stick with the main principle.
Nxt takeover series 4 kamala?
Legends seies 8 drew gulak?
Defining moments ellsworth?
Its seriously a worry that a company the size of mattel make moves like this on the global market. Same reason the retro figures failed so badly. The choices after series 2 were a disgrace.

I’ll agree with you on Warrior and Nakamura, but both Sting’s were defining attires, which is what the line ended up becoming, and that doesn’t bother me. Those figures were great, however the USA Sting should’ve had more than just the jacket. Crown Sting was a good fit for the series in terms of deco, name value, and accessories. I’m glad we’ve got the new UE line though, because it has surpassed the DM line in terms of articulation, deco, accessories, and practically anything else other than the box design.

This line was once great. Defining moments of big names like Hulk Hogan from Wrestlemania III, Macho Man from Wrestlemania VII, and Nakamura from ... I guess to commemorate derailing a line ... or two. You'd have to go out of your way to F this line up.
I'd rather have Defining Moments than Ultimates - I hate those torsos.

“Crow Sting was a bad figure because he was in WCW and this tagline with no real meaning is called WWE Defining Moments” is one of those Big Brain™ 600 IQ posts that makes me wonder if it’s me or the person who said it, because idk.

The USA Sting was rereleased pretty much the same as Ryder in the regular elite line. People won’t justify that price when there’s nothing to make it stand out. Like the warrior. Was just a regular elite

Original Defining Moments: The relaunch of Defining Moments: Just like Mattel Jerry did it for a cash grab lol. Out of the original launch I am missing Rock, HBK, and Stone Cold. I was lucky to find some at Biglots back in the day. I got the first Warrior from a friend for like 50 bucks complete loose. I kind of wished I kept the original ones sealed, but it is what it is.
