I am not sure how I could deal with them. I cannot tell them that they are not permitted in this section because they are negative. People have crapped all over WWE, TNA/Impact and ROH for years on here and no one has asked them to stop or add something to the threads. They have the right to an opinion, right or wrong. When they step over the line, they are now on notice they can be gone. this thread and the ‘is Cody the top guy in AEW’ thread were both just dumb threads that were people who clearly have a hate on for the product and feel the need to spread their toxic tirades. I have seen threads regularly locked in the wwe board for far, far less. for example: forum.wrestlingfigs.com/thread/363693/why-brand-splits-work?page=1 I can find many more of these for you too. I’d prefer the same standard kept here. having critiques of the product is more than welcomed, but coming into the wwe board and posting in threads saying ‘lol wwe is no threat to AEW, it’s been cute but I just can’t see them continuing on strongly, joke company’ isn’t welcome there and shouldn’t be here either. I watch AEW. I like Dynamite better than Raw, Smackdown, and NXT. I've posted in here that AEW has let me down at times and agree to a degree with the thread. I'm not spreading my "toxic tirade" I'm voicing my opinion. You don't have to try to shut people down because you don't agree with them.

You don't have to try to shut people down because you don't agree with them. please reread my post. i'm not against critiques, i state "having critiques of the product is more than welcomed". i'm very much for them, especially if constructive. you said you weren't into the cinematics, i mostly agreed. you said repeatedly that you felt you'd been ripped off, no one tried to nail you to a wall. some people don't like different things about AEW, i don't like things about AEW. but people coming in just to trigger others isn't allowed anywhere else on the forum, i don't see why it should be here, and the differences in posts are pretty clear. if i went into the raw thread and just mocked the company and said aew is so damn superior, trying to predict wwe's downfall, and did this repeatedly, it wouldn't be permitted. this thread was cool until the OP had to challenge everyone that disagreed even after they explained themselves. then it derailed real quick. anyways, i said my opinion. not gonna beat it against a wall any further.

That line sums things up. Seems you're more upset at the "rules" than what's being said. And yeah, I watched that match again and I cccccaaaannnnn''''''ttttttt do it. I hate it.

Don't let anyone take that enjoyment away from you, my guy. Enjoy what you enjoy. Some threads are toxic, but most aren't. AEW is my favorite promotion right now, but there are things that aren't for me. Hope to see you around more, bud!

This is not exactly the same thing. This does not appear to be a WWE guy bashing AEW, it is an AEW giving his opinion on what he does not like about the program. Many people who are AEW fans support various points of what he said and some do not. It would be nice when someone starts a thread like this if they would also give what they appreciate about the product. We are here to discuss it and unless it gets out of hand like it did, that is fine. If it does happen again, there will likely be less people involved still here afterwards. Calling people and their ideas/opinions names and trolling to elicit a word battle is what will get them thrown out, not civil conversations. Sometimes it is a fine line between discussing and trolling.

Thanks for the compliment. It is much appreciated. I think we have the same goal and that is to make this an interesting place to be. I welcome your future comments if there is anything else you come across that you think is out of line. It is tough trying to determine the context of the typed word and what one person interprets being said can be interpreted another way by someone else. I am definitely open to discussing them. I cannot be here 24 hours a day, so if you see something before I do, fell free to mention it.

They did get over a million their first 3 weeks and if it wasn’t for the pandemic, Blood and Guts would have. If Omega and the Bucks won too much you’d be complaining that they always win because they’re executives of the company. I don’t have a problem with job guys getting some offense as a complete one sided match is boring. Plus maybe these guys will be more than jobbers in the future. Spike Dudley is a bodybuilder compared to Marko Stunt. So I agree with that. The women’s matches have mostly been sloppy. They should hire Dave Finlay. I don’t know if a sports-based product would appeal to the masses so maybe that’s why they changed their mind about that? One thing I don’t like about AEW is they have too many “outlaw mud show” wrestlers and that could be one reason a lot of fans have left after the first 3 shows. I think they should bring in Fit Finlay and Norman Smiley.

Omega and Page should be singles contenders. Janela is fine as a mid-carder, but he shouldn't be a jobber like he's been as late.

Omega and Page are telling a story that’s setting the stage for both of them to have big singles runs. They’ve been tag team of the year and Omega might be wrester of the year too.

Someone put together a really cool graphic comparing Omega's booking in 2020 with his Monster 2018 year and by all metrics outside of the heavyweight championship title being his in 2018 he's being booked stronger this year than he was then.

All the charts and statistics are great, however, they are lackluster as a tag team. I'd much rather see them working as singles.

To be fair NJPW puts on a lot of multi man tag team matches which I’m sure helped bring up the loss total for Kenny without him being part of the decision in the matches.
Silly me I should have looked at more than the overall record before posting. Clearly that is the case as 16 of his 19 losses were tag team or group tag matches. Just the way they do things in between meaningful matches, I wouldn’t take that as not booking him as well or strong as they could at all.

Oh for sure he was booked super dominant that year, I think the stats are more to show that he's still being booked very very strongly this year. Whether or not people agree with him being in the tag picture right now is one thing, but can't say he hasn't been booked strongly or booked to be a big deal.

He may not be being booked as the big deal that most want (in singles form), but he still is a big deal and he & Hangman are obviously booked super strong.

I think they're tag team of the year and it's not even close. Riddle/Dunne had a legit shot, pre-Covid. I wish they were solo acts, but they're telling a long term story where the payoff will be huge. AND they're having great matches along the way.

To this point, they are far and away the tag team of the year. I was really into the Broserweights, it’s a shame their run was forced to be cut short. I miss Stallion Pete.
