Yeah it's just one of those velcro tops. I just don't like how the Shinsuke figure is made. The legs just seem so bottom heavy. I know that he does have long long long long long long long legs in human form, but in action figure form, his legs just seem like a big hunk of plastic.

I mean, it’s a $20 figure. What kind of quality soft goods did you think was gonna come with it. It looks fine btw and as long as it looks fine that’s all that matters.

The cloth shirt is fine. It does have that plastic texture to it but its cloth nonetheless. There have been much better soft goods items made by Mattel.
Secondly there aren’t really any “fake” mattel wrestling figures out there. There are unreleased proto types that find their way into the market but other than that there is no need for legit checks on figures lol

Look on the brightside - If you're not happy with it you have about 17,000 other Shinsuke figures to chose from.
Yep, aside from Finn Balor, no mid-carder has ever flooded the pegs with so many releases in figure collecting history. My Walmart still has his basic since before Christmas, and his next releases are on the way.
The more the merrier

When I look around my area, I feel like Mattel is missing it with the case numbers recently. It is apparent that kids in my area don't need/want 5 basics of Finn Balor, and now that he is on NXT not as many of the new fans coming in actually know who he is. The ratings tell me NXT has a much smaller viewing audience, so it makes sense that this would be the result. Guys who aren't on Raw or Smackdown regularly tend to stall, and when there are 4 of that figure in the case, it tends to rot quite frequently.
I see the same thing with guys like Triple H, etc. They aren't on tv, so the newest fans don't know who they are, and the older fans already have him.
Now if they had a case with 4 Aleister Black, 4 Drew McIntyre, and 4 Fiend basics, I believe it would move pretty well right now. All of these guys have been under contract for over a year, and I think they'd be flying off the pegs because of their presence on Raw and Smackdown. Not to mention, most of the kids don't have these but certainly would want them.

Yeah most certainly, I tried getting Drew and Aleister Black on ringside but they got too expensive then left the site. I have no chance at The Fiend.

I’ve always thought the robe on the Undertaker from E27 looks like a cheap piece of molded rubber ....that would have been a real badass figure had they paid more attention to detailing it’s robe & hood

The idea that someone would go to the lengths of bootlegging this particular figure is baffling to me.
