Glancing over Dark, it looks a lot more realistic this week. It was more in the realm of what we can expect to see, but I do like the idea of using the main event of these shows to showcase strictly AEW talents, over using it as yet another enhancement match. I must also note, I really hope that we don’t see the Hardy Boyz reunite in AEW. I find it hard to believe Jeff Hardy would leave WWE after the angle that was shot, or that the WWE would allow him to leave so abruptly.
Onto Dynamite, we see the debut of Marty Scurll, Flip Gordon and Brody King. I’m not opposed to it, but would imagine you are going the way of working a talent agreement/exchange with Ring of Honor. Obviously it’s best suited in this opening segment, and the promos and blowoff will be good. That said, I hope you are wise enough to not have Villain Enterprise featured on a full-time, permanent basis whenever you decide that the lockdown is over. It’s also wildly different than having FTR debut, more on that later. I love the idea of Chris Jericho heading to the Hardy Compound to fight Matt Hardy. July 1 falls on when Fyter Fest takes place in real life, so I’d figure you’re going the same way. I can imagine Rey Fenix and Joey Janela had a hell of a match, hope to see Fenix get his teeth stuck in with Pentagon Jr. out of the equation. Also would like to see you utilise Janela properly as a character. I suspect Tully Blanchard will be the JJ Dillon of a WWE alumnus Four Horsemen faction. I’m not opposed to seeing them come after the AEW World Tag Team Championships, but I don’t like the logic of rushing them to the top unless it was to send a message. That said, I don’t like that in their first appearance as champs, the Best Friends have been killed pretty much right away. These guys beat Hangman Page and Kenny Omega, after all. Also while different, I can only imagine the people would have been expecting them to mix it up with Young Bucks immediately - unless you’re waiting for the live crowds to come back to do it. Now Chris Hero’s lost out to Cody, I hope he stays somewhat relevant in the crowded depths of the roster. Nice ice breaker between Brian Cage and AEW World Champion Jon Moxley, the Dark Order make for a nice foil for them. And for our main event, I did like the show-long tease of MJF suffering another “fatal” injury. I wonder what an Omega and Wardlow match would turn out like, given the similar physiques and use of power moves. I feel like Wardlow should be picking up some wins out of fear of looking like a guy that can only beat enhancement talents that don’t matter, and the angle with Page making the save sets up for a tag team match that I wouldn’t be surprised spells the end for the team. That or it will finally lead to an Omega and MJF match. All in all, it was a strong show, but I maybe wouldn’t have main evented with Omega and Wardlow.

EVERYTHING ELITE All Elite Wrestling News Roundup June 15, 2020
- Two segments were cut from last week's AEW Dynamite broadcast to make room for #FTR's debut with Tully Blanchard. The #FTR debut segment was added last minute as soon as they signed with the company, which came down to the wire after receiving contract offers from IMPACT, NJPW, and the NWA. The two cut segments have been posted to YouTube since the show, the first being a confrontation backstage between Darby Allin and Lance Archer, the other being a training montage of "The Role Model" Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D.
- Villain Enterprises' debut in AEW was a shock to all. This is a very short-term program designed to give Ring of Honor some shine during the COVID-19 situation. It had been rumoured that a working agreement between the two companies was signed, and that looks to be somewhat true. We're not too sure on the specifics, and if any AEW talent will be going to ROH or if any more ROH talent will show up in AEW besides Marty Scurll, Brody King, and Flip Gordon.
- In a statement released on Twitter, Tony Khan revealed that Trent's injury at the hands of #FTR will keep him out of action for approximately four weeks - past AEW Fyter Fest. Best Friends will not be stripped of the AEW World Tag Team Championships, but they will defend them on the July 15th edition of Dynamite. Their opponents are yet to be decided.
- IMPACT Tag Team Champions The North worked the recent IMPACT tapings in Las Vegas. The team is from Ontario, Canada, meaning they were able to cross the border under the new sports exception put forth by the U.S. Government. This is good news for all AEW stars who have been stuck in their home countries by the pandemic. We're not sure if it is just Canadian talent who can cross yet or not, but we should know in the next few weeks based on who works the upcoming AEW tapings. BEING THE ELITE ROUND-UP
- The main story surrounding this week's Being The Elite was The Young Buck's reaction to the AEW debut of Marty Scurll and Villain Enterprises at their expense. Matt and Nick Jackson are hurting from the attack but they will not sit idly by and let Marty get the moral victory over them. They will face the trio at Fyter Fest, but they need to search for a partner. The search began as they conducted interviews with Peter Avalon, Brandon Cutler, Joey Janela, Luther, and all three members of Jurassic Express. Before they could pick their partner at the end of the episode, The Young Bucks ran into #FTR in the hallway, the four simply staring at one another not saying a word until BTE went dark.
- "Broken" Matt Hardy's industry term of the week was "future endeavored". Hardy wishes Jericho the best in his future endeavors when he beats his ass in All Delete Wrestling on July 1st! Hardy also claimed that no Hardy gets future endeavored - they control their own destiny.
- The Hybrid2 of Jack Evans and Angelico gave another non-sensical promo detailing their lives, conspiracies, and aliens. TH2 have found the "secret fuel for success" and promise to climb the tag team mountain when they return to AEW.
- Kenny Omega and Hangman Page had a tag team sitdown discussing MJF and Wardlow. Omega and Hangman are on the same page for now and are determined to give "that little pipsqueak" a lesson. The former AEW World Tag Team Champions traded creative insults detailing MJF. Hangman and Omega will team together on Wednesday to face MJF and Wardlow in tag team action. THIS WEEK ON "ROAD TO..."
- Tony Schiavone sat down with Tully Blanchard and #FTR to discuss the team's arrival to All Elite Wrestling. Blanchard explained that proper tag team wrestling had become an afterthought and a joke in AEW and he refused to let his legacy in professional wrestling be ruined by the likes of Best Friends, Private Party, and The Young Bucks. Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood are the best tag team in the world and will prove it to the world. They are traditionalist and know that they need to be ranked in order to get a shot at the titles, but their attack on Best Friends was a message to all the teams in the division. #FTR promises to get ranked as quickly as possible because they are just that damn good, and then they will mold the AEW Tag Team division to their liking.
- Darby Allin hung out with Tony Hawk and perfected a skate drop from the top of a ladder. Hawk congratulated Allin on his success in AEW and gave him a spot as a playable character in the remastered Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2.
- The AEW Women's World Champion Hikaru Shida was featured. The 12-year pro is learning English and wants to represent the entire division. She plans on holding the Championship forever and welcomes all challenges. After beating Nyla Rose following 12 weeks as the number one contender, Shida feels unstoppable!

AEW DYNAMITE Wednesday, June 17, 2020 on TNT Jacksonville, FL | Daily's Place All Elite Wrestling takes over Daily’s Place in sunny Jacksonville, Florida for another night of incredible AEW Dynamite action. Excalibur, Tony Schiavone, and the legendary Jim Ross are on the call tonight, and ready for tonight’s festivities after a tremendous pyrotechnics display. 1. #FTR (w. Tully Blanchard) def. Private Party - Say yeah! Tully Blanchard’s new recruits Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood came to fight in their AEW debut as they dismantled Isiah Kassidy and Marq Quen. Private Party worked for the upper hand from underneath but Wheeler and Harwood used old school tag team wrestling techniques to ground their high-flying opponents. At Tully’s request, #FTR put Quen’s head into the mat with a Spiked Piledriver for the win. That’s one down on #FTR’s quest to topping the AEW tag team division. After their loss, Private Party walked backstage and are stopped by Matt Hardy. The legendary non-broken Hardy gave the young tag team some sound advice and advised them to keep their heads up. Matt Hardy is a fan of Private Party and considers them a spiritual successor to The Hardys, and he will lend his hand to help them going forward. 2. Kris Statlander def. Mel - “The Galaxy’s Greatest Alien” continued her success in the AEW Women’s division as she dispatched of the returning Mel. While Mel had a slight height advantage, Statlander connected with the Big Bang Theory for the victory. The Young Bucks came down to the ring to address last week’s attack by Villain Enterprises’ Marty Scurll, Brody King, and Flip Gordon. Matt and Nick Jackson questioned Marty’s actions but they claimed that “The Villain” just wasn’t good enough to join The Elite, especially when he chose to stay elsewhere instead of joining them in AEW. Scurll’s music interrupted as three members of Villain Enterprises walked down and joined The Bucks in the ring. Marty claimed he is not upset that The Elite chose to become “All Elite”, he’s here to get revenge on them leaving him out in the cold and taking the spotlight with them. “This is nothing more than a lesson in respect!” exclaimed Marty as King and Gordon jumped The Young Bucks for another beatdown… that is until Kenny Omega ran down to the ring to make the save. Omega, alone, clotheslined Gordon out of the ring as Brody and Marty left the squared circle in a hurry. After their search on Being The Elite, it looks like The Young Bucks have found their third man… who was all alone in the ring with The Bucks until Hangman Page made his entrance after all the chaos dissipated. 3. MJF & Wardlow def. Kenny Omega & Hangman Page - After the issues in last week’s main event, MJF looked to be just fine as he and “Mr. Mayhem” Wardlow worked as a cohesive unit while Omega and Page did not look to be on the same page following the altercation with Villain Enterprises. The former AEW World Tag Team Champions seemed to work well together after Omega hot tagged Hangman as “The Cowboy” unleashed some “Cowboy Sh*t” on MJF and Wardlow. In the end, however, when Page looked to tag out after an MJF low-blow, Omega got distracted by the reappearance of Marty Scurll and made chase, allowing Wardlow time to hit the F-10 for the pinfall victory. Following the match, Omega returned to the ring realizing what happened but Page looked dejected and left the ring shaking his head without his partner. Chris Jericho and the Inner Circle hung out backstage watching the show, “Le Champion” provided his own commentary track of what had happened between the members of The Elite thanks to “El Villano Martin Scurll”. Jericho yelled for a beverage but was instead met with the appearance of Orange Cassidy. Cassidy nonchalantly grabbed a glass of orange juice and threw it in the face of Jericho as revenge for him throwing a shirt on Cassidy a few weeks ago! Before The Inner Circle could attack in retribution, Cassidy shrugged and left their locker room - with Jericho yelling that he’ll beat the pulp out of Orange and that this isn’t over! 4. Jon Moxley def. Jon Silver (w. Dark Order) - As Brian Cage and Taz joined the commentary booth, the AEW World Champion Jon Moxley took down Jon Silver as Mr. Brodie Lee, 10, and Alex Reynolds watched from ringside. Silver tried his best against the champion, but Mox beat the living crap out of the Dark Order follower. As Mr. Brodie Lee fumed from ringside, Moxley put Silver’s head through the mat with the Paradigm Shift for the victory. After the match, Mr. Brodie Lee, Alex Reynolds, and the still-injured 10 rushed into the ring and knocked down the AEW World Champion for a beatdown. After Taz had his fun at the announce booth, he instructed Brian Cage to intervene. “The Machine” entered the ring and clotheslined 10 and Reynolds out of the ring, but the lights went out. When they came back, the returning Evil Uno and Stu Grayson stood in front of Mr. Brodie Lee and across from Cage. Uno quickly spat mist in the face of “The Machine”, giving the Dark Order enough time to exit the ring out of harm’s way. A video package aired of Darby Allin with iconic skateboarder Tony Hawk. Tony Hawk said he didn’t need a doctor’s note to skate there. Tony Hawk high-fived Darby after seeing Darby’s fearless display of tricks and revealed Darby as being a playable character in the remastered Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2. 5. Lance Archer (w. Jake Roberts) def. Darby Allin - “The Murderhawk Monster” ragdolled Darby Allin to begin the match as Jake “The Snake” Roberts laughed at ringside. Darby never gave up, despite it being obvious he rushed back to in-ring action too soon after his big crash landing at Double or Nothing, and tried to fight off Archer’s cocky destruction. Allin turned the tides when he threw himself out of the ring into Archer and the guardrail, but it wasn’t enough to put Archer down. In the end, after a good fight, Archer chokeslammed Darby through one of his skateboards as Roberts called for the EBD Claw, which forced Allin to pass out from the pain… never giving up despite Archer’s advantages. “The Bastard” PAC sent in a video package warning the roster members of All Elite Wrestling. He has been watching the program from England in his quarantine and he is not pleased with not being able to show the world that he is the best in AEW. PAC promises that the Death Triangle will come back to AEW stronger than ever… when we least expect it. 6. TNT Championship - Cody © (w. Arn Anderson) def. Rey Fénix - One of the best television main events in recent memory, “The American Nightmare” Cody successfully retained the AEW TNT Championship against Death Triangle’s Rey Fénix. Fénix used his unorthodox break-neck style to take the champion off his game, but Cody would never give up and fought back. The match spilled outside the ring, where Fénix caught his opponent with a beautiful step-up tornillo. As the match progressed, Fénix got a few nearfalls but Cody returned the favour and grounded the challenger with a devastating Figure Four. The fought continued and nearly reached the 20-minute mark until the champion hit the Cody Cutter to score the winning pinfall in this instant classic. As Cody rose to his feet and was handed the AEW TNT Championship by his coach Arn Anderson, his celebration was cut short when “The Villain” Marty Scurll walked out on stage alone. Scurll congratulated Cody on the win, but he doesn’t forget Cody’s willingness to cut Scurll out of The Elite - and for that, “The Villain” promised to crush “The American Nightmare’s” dreams next week on Dynamite.

Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, this diary has come to an end. For reasons I will not divulge, the presentation of the diary would need to change and I do not think any change to the graphics package would do this diary justice (two needed logos would be missing and it is simply not worth it without them).
Thank you for understanding and thank you to all of you who enjoyed the diary! It was a lot of fun to write and I very much enjoyed seeing the reception is got.
We changed the world, until the real world changed our course.
All the best, Griffin

Sorry to see this finish. Was my favourite diary on the board atm. Thought it was really well done, accessible and brilliantly presented.
