I think it would be awesome for someone to track down Shirley Adams and do an interview or maybe post some photos if she took any photos of her working for WWF with the merchandise. For those who don't remember Shirley was a woman who had some sort of charge over the WWF catalogs in the late 80s and early 90s. I'm guessing she was a real person but it also wouldn't surprise me if she was a made up name as some sort of motherly or grandmotherly figure as those were usually the ones buying the merchandise for kids. I think her name stopped being used around 1994 when the catalog was only done like once a year as opposed to all year round with three or four different catalogs per year. WWF was obviously very lacking in talent and merchandise around 1994 and 1995 and it showed with their catalog limitations. I wonder if she was a regular office employee or if she only came in when needed and I wonder if she was in constant contact with the merchandise and made decisions. I would love to see a retrospective maybe done by Zack or Curt about Shirley and the 80s and 90s WWF merchandise and any cool stories she may have. I would also like to hear from someone who worked for the Wrestling Ring company in the late 80s, early 90s. For fans, that company may have been the only chance at the time to obtain some of the latter series LJNs.
