I was watching a shoot interview with Raven. He said he only wanted Perry Saturn, Sick Boy and Billy Kidman in the group. They really had alot of potential and could have been special just like NWO and the Four Horsemen.

I have read that before, but personally I honestly only cared for Raven and Saturn. I didn’t care for the rest of the flock.

It’s fascinating how memorable the Flock proved to be while most of them always got their asses kicked.

They always came off like total jobbers to me because most were. They definitely needed to keep it a small group to get away from the jobber stink. If it had been Raven, Saturn, maybe Kidman and Reis it would have been alright. But Riggs and Vick had jobber written all over them and unfortunately even just one ruins the group. They would never be anywhere close to 4H or NWO but could have been better than they were. They could have even added a few of the lower tier NWO guys to the group and it wouldn't hurt them as long as they were mid card guys and not low level JTTS. Having your lower card guys in a group just wasn't good business, like the JOB Squad showed about a year later.

They were a good group that had potential in my book...But like loads of other acts they were smothered by the ME scene & seemed like they were only there to be bullet stoppers for Raven( aside from Saturn). I enjoyed his split from the group & feud too.

I liked Raven and Perry Saturn as a tag team and the match at Bash At The Beach.

I remember fans being pissed at how Sick Boy was being utilized in WCW and then he signed with the WWF and was released after 2 years in developmental.

the flock getting destroyed by goldberg is a great memory. one of my favourite wcw matches, raven sends all his henchmen at goldberg only to still get smashed.

Perry Saturn is a former Army ranger and legit tough guy. Bill Goldberg wouldn't beat him up that easily. WCW could have done some good things with him.

I love Perry but Goldberg was where the money was. I really wish Kronus had been able to go with Perry as I loved The Eliminators, but it wasn’t to be

There was also animosity with Saturn and Kronus so Saturn would never work with him again

He was putting people in the seats and WCW screwed it up with that awful stun gun storyline.

Sting and Raven would have been a great feud in WCW.

how many times was 'The Flock' (or a different name) reused in other feds? I'm pretty sure it's been in every major North American promotion besides the WWE over the last 25 years.
