How did this get to two pages? 😂 Agreed. Nando's being the most overrated thing ever requires no discussion.

Walked past a Nandos the other day, a queue stretching down the street just to get a seat. Albeit it was the ‘eat out to help out’ offer on, just thought it looked pointless waiting a considerable amount of time for some half price Chicken.

Probably spent a few quid on bus fare to get there so what are they really saving? I saw a story where some lass said she'd been taking her family out every week and saved something like £200. Yeah, but you've also spent £200 on eating out when normally you probably wouldn't have bothered.

Tbf I've spent more than I usually would eating out during the promo as there were places I wanted to try that I wouldn't have paid full price for. Definitely spent more than I normally would, but was able to try quite a few new places as well!

For the record, Nando's is NOT overrated! If you like Nando's you'll love the ordinary cooked chicken you can get from the cooked meats aisle at Sainsbury's.

I do like the Colonels greasy bucket but it's all about timing . We have a takeout night once a week mondays . Mcdonalds or kfc or Paulies donna kebab + pizza . always ask them how long as that chicken been in the heater "WHAT" . I don't want my chicken dry as a Nuns well you know what I mean never never land well no one is ever going to see it .I know you get paid by the neck down kid but it's an honest Question . I like it just made 5 mins in the heater tops after that I can't eat more than one peice . I don't mind waiting if they have none ready plus they always give you a litre bottle of pepsi + extra gravy . yeah it's all about the Nuns juices.

I should delete all the blasphemous Nando’s posts but I won’t... I love the place, probably because I get 20% NHS discount but I can 100% understand why people would think you overpay for what you get. I usually order 1/2 chicken, creamy mash, peri chips and coleslaw and add sh*t loads of chilli sauce to everything so it has a kick to it.
I’ve never been interested in pub franchise meals such as Wetherspoons or Toby Carvery etc, the food is absolutely trash IMO.

Agreed. 28 years old and I’ve never been nor have I ever been even slightly tempted. Basic, overpriced crape. Teenagers are impressionable sheep.

I love a Nando's to be fair. Always a guarenteed safety bet for certain types of times, (e.g. if you've been out shopping and want something quick and easy and not fancy).

...is Nando's. Change my mind. What do teenagers love so much about some self-serve bland chicken? Dreadful food 🤢
