Did the hogan figure ever hit shelves? What attire/era? Do we know what was supposed to be wave 3? Yes the figure hit shelves, it's Hogan in his Wrestlemania 9 gear against Yokozuna. Series three was supposed to be repaints (all of which came out in later waves of the Hall of Fame series) and series four was to have Dude Love. The Hogan/Tito situation caused the Hall of Fame line to come to a halt and by the time they could move forward with the Hall of Fame series, Foley wasn't under contract. All of this information came out in an interview with Bill Miekina. If the time mark doesnt' work, watch from the 34 minute mark: Not to sound melodramatic, but there's such a fascinating butterfly effect from this wave forward. I forgot how wild the story was. And that mixup royally messed up exclusives at Target for the next 2-3 years and probably cost us a few figures we'll never see (Rocky Johnson, Texas Tornado).

So many choices out there but I hope we get some more Ric Flair’s. He has so many cool color combos, and Mattel to do those robes in cloth would be pretty damn cool.

Just give me a bunch of Hogans and I'll be happy. Series 9: Hulk Hogan - Hasbro #1 look, with the helmet he wore a few times around 89 Sgt. Slaughter - Iraqi with belt, towel thingy - would be awesome if he came with the Hulk Rules shirt that he set on fire. Kona Crush Ted Dibiase - Black suit Ted Dibiase chase - Green suit Series 10: Hulk Hogan - Wrestlemania 7 Texas Tornado - Red like the Hasbro Harley Race - here's their chance to get him out there Virgil - Purple pants (or where they red?) from when he turned on Ted - with million $ belt Virgil chase - Red and white stripes - with million $ belt
Series 11: Macho Man - Tuesday in Texas Dusty Rhodes - Red with yellow polka dots Mr. Fuji - Black tux Hercules - Black trunks Hercules chase - Blue trunks Series 12: Hulk Hogan - Wrestlemania 4 with white boots Brother Love - with white microphone and stand Bruno Sammartino - 80's with older look Mr. Perfect - Green Mr. Perfect chase - Yellow Yes to all of these except for your chase Virgil, I would rather have the boxer short look from 1991/92: The pants that Virgil was wearing when he turned on Ted at RR91 was purple. He wore similar red ones when he wrestled at house shows in 1988/89. I'll take that version of Virgil too. I actually liked Virgil and feel he is a bit underrated.

Though for some reason, I do not like the red and white striped tights, I don't mind the brown and white ones he wore in late 1992, he wore them at Survivor Series 1992 vs Yokozuna.

I thought what happened was Hogan got yanked from the second production run of Hof2 making every other figure need to be 2 per case including Tito. And then on top of that,.. before Mattel had it sorted, the system automatically replaced Hogan’s spot by doubling production on a random figure in the assortment which ended up being Tito.
Maybe that’s just my stupid memory making stuff up but it sounds like some of the other explanations are crossed with the big 4 Horsemen boxset production issue

Ok then another Undertaker:)
I don’t know if Haku is under a figure deal, but he has appeared on wwe trading cards over the last couple of years so it is possible. I hope so!

I can’t come up with lineups but it needs to be heavy hitters in desired attires. Hulk Rules Hogan is something I want to see. Essentially Hasbro number 1 Hogan. Any non Ministry or ABA Taker too. Ultimate Warrior is slotted for the next one but it’s his final appearance. Now it’s neat and all but there’s still other Warriors. I feel like that might have been better served as like a Ringside or Amazon exclusive or something. Maybe I’m just misreading they demand for that one. I’ll buy that Warrior if I find it in stores. I think it’s an awesome figure of a great moment. As I’ve stated previously though, this line appears like it’s it’s going to be 90% repaints, which I don’t see lasting at the rate they plan to produce them.

Tito was the easily the best figure from wave 2 as it was his debut Mattel figure and they nailed him perfectly. Target couldn't keep Hall of Fame in stock so wave 2 was over produced, then wave 3 came with Savage at 4 per case who also shelf warmed with Tito he had to make up for Cactus Jack getting pulled from the set. When 4 and 5 came they just were starting to get back on track, then they changed it to hall of champions.

Legends 9: Bad News Brown Hulk Hogan (1990) Jimmy Hart Lex Luger (wolfpack)
Legends 10: Brutus Beefcake Dynamite Kid Davey Boy Smith Stunning Steve Austin
Legends 11: Ultimate Warrior WM12 Raymond Rougeau Jacques Rougeau Raven (WCW)
Legends 12: Koko B Ware Randy Savage (neon cowboy) King Harley Race King Haku
I tried to put a big star in each wave. Hogan, Austin, Warrior, Savage.
I wanted to include Andre the Giant in a suit as well but not sure where to put it.
I tried to mix up eras but I like the late 80s early 90s too much.

I like this list. Which versions of brutus and Jimmy were you thinking? I want andre in a suit very badly. It was almost as iconic a look as the singlet. Especially relevant during the million dollar man era.

Undertaker 1991 has not been done. I know its only a year out from debut undertaker but the hair is darker and fuller almost permed (as opposed to the redder mullet) eyes rolled back in the head, winged eagle belt... Additionally if they had the rights, king haku and tropical tights/collossal connection haku could potentially be regular and chase. Not sure if king haku should get the king harley race cape or not.
