That's, uh... a heckuva statement. It’s not likely, but with WWE’s numbers going down consistently over the last 5 years are very alarming. Pre-Covid, their attendance was troubling and didn’t justify the venue size that they used to. Unless they once again fail upwards, their next tv deals will likely be nowhere close to the current ones. The fact that they’re publicly traded played a factor in me saying that too. That company has too many red flags to ever reach its previous heights again. I could totally see them selling (likely not to TK) once their profitability pales in comparison to this year. Also, I was very tired when I said that. lol I’ve been in the hospital with my wife the last few days and haven’t really slept. If I do the live feed for Dynamite tonight, it might get REALLY weird. Hope it's nothing too serious. Best to ya.

Jericho Dustin Hardy Moxley All those guys will be back at some point down the line. the rest are plausible, but Dustin? unless AEW folds I don't see that happening. When Dustin retires I can see him returning for a HOF induction and possibly occasional backstage Goldust segments.

I doubt Dustin would go back if he's still involved in working with younger talent like he is now. He does a lot of coaching type work behind the scenes in aew. I imagine that's more fulfilling than a few Goldust segments. If he was only wrestling I could see it but he does a lot with aew that we don't see

I'm near sure Billy Gunn was signed when he went in last year. He's a deserving HOFer so it would be a shame if he never goes in.

Billy was signed to AEW when he was inducted, but I believe that was when AEW had just been officially announced a few months prior. The deal to induct him may have already been in place, and probably no one really cared in terms of business at the time. I think Dustin could still get inducted while working with AEW, but there would probably be some kind of transaction involved like when Flair got inducted again and Christian had to show up at TNA for a segment.

I could see Page and MJF there. Page could be an amazing antihero with the right booking, and MJF seems like WWE heel material already.

It’s only going to get worse. I would never want to go to WWE if I had options from any of the other big promotions.

WWE needs to do everything they can to get MJF. So long as AEW is in existence, this will never happen. Even then, I'm pretty sure MJF would quit wrestling before going to the WWE.

WWE needs to do everything they can to get MJF. Why? They don't invest in developing young talent. They'd send him out to do a 20 minute promo that he had no input on then lose later that night. He'd be just another guy lost in the system...

WWE needs to do everything they can to get MJF. Am I in inception right now? We've had this thread twice, and you've made this post twice in this incarnation of the thread. The top won't stop spinning, please send help.

We already have a lesser version of MJF in the WWE and he's called the Miz and he's just okay.
