I mean, it's not like it's a surprise. He's been fired from these positions before, as has Pritchard. It's like being a coach in a professional sports team, good or bad the shelf life is generally very short. Being fired is as equally non permanent as being hired in the first place.

Actually it would have been fun if Heyman was really in control. Like ecw, like smackdown in 2002, and like OVW in 2005 and 2006. Spoiler - Vince was in charge in 2002 as well. Yeah but he gave Heyman creative freedom for awhile in 2002.

Biggest fear I have is some of Heymans guys/girls could be in trouble. Raw has been decent these last few weeks. Seth, Drew, and Aleister Black have all been great. I would hate to see there momentum crushed. I’m honestly terrified at the thought of Lashley beating McIntyre and feuding with Lesnar for Summerslam. We can’t do this again with Brock. Enough is enough.

Just read that Andrade, is only being pushed because of Heyman. WRONG. It's because he's slapping tallywackers with Charles. Ah, more transphobic Charlotte jokes. Just what this forum needs.

I'm more surprised Heyman took this role and that he lasted in this role a year.
Bischoff got ousted after four months.

he's a millionaire who should be a billionaire... you know why he's not a billionaire? He is a billionaire. There was some kid on here the other week complaining that WWE is going to have its most profitable year ever. Let’s pick a lane - is WWE a thriving business doing better than ever, or is it a failing business that doesn’t make money anymore?

Let’s pick a lane - is WWE a thriving business doing better than ever, or is it a failing business that doesn’t make money anymore? You're missing the point and grabbed one thing out of context. In that same promo from 2011, the most important part (for me) is pointing out that Vince succeeds despite himself. WWE is projected to have the best earnings they've ever had. They're losing fans at a scary rate. Both things are true. I don't think Bruce Prichard is the guy to bring in new fans, but I hope I'm wrong.

The financials are public record since they are a traded company. Their revenue is up like 60% largely because of the Fox deal. I suppose I'd have to look at every years financials, but I trust the reports from Meltzer etc about it being on pace for the most profitable given the first quarter reports.

It's funny that the same people who chime in every week to complain about RAW are the ones most vocal about Heyman being demoted. If those same few didn't complain constantly about ANYTHING/EVERYTHING maybe their opinion would hold more merit? This goes for people here and people who claim to be impartial journalists.
If you say you don't like it, why complain when changes are made?
"I don't like the Profits/Raider segments on RAW!"
"How dare they replace the guy who came up with those Profits/Raider skits"

He did write stuff like that in ecw. Heyman also wrote in ecw Public Enemy playing tennis and stuff so you might be right.

"How dare they replace the guy who came up with those Profits/Raider skits" Heyman didn’t come up with those! That was Vince/Kevin Dunn/whoever its popular to hate this week. Heyman only came up with all the parts of Raw that we very vocally love every week! Like... umm.... and well there’s... uh... damn, you got a point. You’re completely right.

Not to heart broken that Heyman is gone in terms of behind the scene stuff.Don't know what he was in control of or not in terms of RAW the past year but shows been extremely boring and the rumored talent he was high on is kind of a mix bag.Suppose to be high on both Alexander & Ricochet and both mens careers have fallen off the cliff and talents like Black,Andrade,Murphy...ect aren't really that much better off from a year ago really. But Apollo Crews has gotten a renewed push and seem to finally be clicking, another guy rumors say Heyman was pushing for.If I was him I would be a bit worried with Heyman going as besides these last few months his five year or so career in the WWE has amounted to nothing.
I know the WWE loves to go back to the same old same old all the time but would have loved to see Triple H gain control of creative over RAW/Smackdown or his boys underneath him in HBK & Road Dogg.If not them then some fresh blood in terms of a creative mind that would fit the current wrestling landscape and more so what the fans truly want in 2020.

I know Prichard has been at this a long time, but how can he handle a workload this big, even with a creative team under him?
