today is the day! I ended up dropping the coin for one, pickup is later today Where'd you manage it? I've been trying all day to get one for my Brother for Christmas. Got it in my cart at Best Buy three times and it sold out before I could complete the purchase each time. Was in the Sony store que for hours without it moving at all and the time to be let in just increasing. Got it in my cart at Walmart as well, but was met with the spinning wheel of death trying to checkout and it went out of stock. Kinda expected problems like that, but it's still frustrating as all heck. |

Got mine yesterday and love it so far! Glad I was able to Lee order mine when they did they announce trailer

All four times Walmart listed it I had it in my cart as far as confirming the order. And every time I hit place order it would say the item was now sold out. Seriously they need to fix the system to account for people having it in their cart for checkout. I am so tired of going through all the steps on these sites for preordering anything only to have them remove it from my cart for someone else’s order. There needs to be a way to account for items in people’s carts.

Also had it in my cart, to be told it sold out as I tried to complete the order three times at Best Buy. Then the debacle of the Playstation Direct queue. I was waiting online, periodically refreshing, since a little before midnight est both 11/12 and 11/13. Managed to get it in my cart once on the 12th, only to be told it sold out after I entered the cc info. On the 13th, I got put in the queue. Initially said about a four minute wait. About one minute after that, it shot up to over and hour and NEVER moved after that. Like, literally, didn't move at all. I sat there waiting for almost three hours and the queue wait time didn't budge at all. On a whim, I opened a new tab and was actually let into the site, where the add to cart button was showing (the queue was still stalled on my other tab). As fast as my fingers could manage, I went through the process and thought I had it finally. Clicked the confirm the order and it sat spinning for a while and then... BAM! Sorry, It's Sold Out. Completely ridiculous (I want to add a bunch of bad words before that in all honesty, and I don't swear much). Honestly, I wouldn't even care that much if I was trying to get this for myself, but being that I'm trying to nab one as a x-mas gift for my Brother (who's been pretty depressed lately), it's very irritating. |

I'm playing dark souls...and that's it so far. controller is cool though. |

This launch has been a complete joke. The only retailer that's trying to do anything about bots getting all the consoles is PS Direct.

Luckily there’s no games out right now where I feel like I need a PS5, and won’t really want one until Resident Evil 8 comes out next year. My PS4 works fine.

Luckily there’s no games out right now where I feel like I need a PS5, and won’t really want one until Resident Evil 8 comes out next year. My PS4 works fine. Agreed. I mainly play 2K anyways, so there isn't much out that I feel like I need to play. I would like to try the new Demon souls game, but I'm in no rush. |

I came close today. They came in at a Walmart around me and I saw a guy walking out of the store with one but I had just missed them. Apparently they got 6
