The vast majority that test positive make a speedy full recovery and most dont even display symptoms. This big "Breaking news" title makes it look more significant than it is. It's news worthy because WWE doesn't (they might start now) test for Covid and one of the people they brought in tested positive. Depending on the timeframe when they were last there, they could have been a carrier and spread it to other people. And they are right not to test, its a waste of time. So what if hes a "carrier", the vast majority dont even know they have it. If someone does have a bad reaction to it, which is rare by the way, then send them to hospital. This lockdown is nonsense, Sweden took the right approach.

I think the WWE has a moral obligation to test every person they can if they're going to run during the pandemic. I really hope you and the people you love don't have to experience it first hand for you to take this seriously.

I know some people have attempted, and largely succeeded, in tying CoVid to politics. Both Lounge threads dealing with these issues got locked due to arguments.
Just a mention.

Bringing up politics is the quickest way to get anything locked here too. This place sucks enough as it is, with the same constantly complain about something as simple as wrestling. I'm not about to let politics ruin this place even more.

Lemme open the Raw thread, I bet there’s no constant complaining in th... okay, bad example. Alright, the Backlash thread. Nobody in there is just complaining for the sake of compl... oh, uh, okay let’s not count that. Hold on, I’m gonna check every thread on the first page. Alright. Did that. Turns out you’re right again, Spidey.

well, hopefully no one to at the very least few catch it and/or transmit the virus to others. despite anyone's views on it, no one wants a second wave shutdown.

Florida is leading the US in the number of new daily COVID cases.... Thank goodness the pandemic is over! Let's get people in here and start making some money!

Not surprising at all. WWE/Vince/Linda are certainly in the right-wing camp when it comes to Covid-19 thinking.
Sad. Vince not wanting extras to wear masks is eerily familiar to an upcoming gathering where the host has requested any attendee's not wear masks.
Silly shit.
If it could POSSIBLY help.. who TF does it hurt to try?
As far as AEW testing, to detail momentarily, they test the day before, the real 24 hour test, then do temperature the day of. That's why everyone wears 2 wrist bands, to show they passed both tests.

Well considering they've been running these shows since March - and this is the first case (that we know of), I'd say they've done pretty well. I did notice that Lana seemed to be a little short of breath, during her promo though... I'm assuming they test everyone before and every time they enter the PC? Otherwise ... uh oh ... "Testing" is WWE just taking everyone's temperature. This isn't an actual "test", as not everyone who has COVID-19 gets a temperature and it doesn't account for those who are asymptomatic. Actually getting a COVID-19 test can take 24 hours to several days to get results. So taking somebody's temperature the day they show up to perform doesn't really accomplish much except to say they did the very least they can do as far as taking precaution. The only way to actually guarantee somebody is virus free is to put them into a 2 week quarantine before they perform where during that time they don't interact with another human being. But you've got people like Charlotte and Andrade showing off on Instagram going out to restaurants with no masks, and she's working EVERY show. WWE should not be operating at this time for health and safety reasons, and also because the product they have put out since March has been absolutely abysmal and sad. But Vince McMahon wants that TV ad revenue, so it is what it is. "The product they've put out since March, has been absolutely abysmal and sad"... In your view - and it's not one I, and I suspect many others share.
