I'm very hopeful that one of the reasons they brought back the legends line is because with AEW in the figures game WWE actively seeked out various legends to get them signed to deals before the competition could. They probably can't name or reveal any newer faces because they wouldn't be ready for another 6 to 12 months. Here's hoping.

I have faith, or maybe it's just hope, that Mattel will go out on a high note tomorrow. I think we see Basic 111 & 112, Battle Pack 67 & 68, and a few more grey renders. The only grey render so far this year was Candice, and we saw that one early because she was on the panel. I think tomorrow we see a grey renders of Haku, Hogan and couple others. I hope you're right. We usually see a pretty full slate of renders, so maybe there is some hope. But historically the last day of reveals is always the last interesting content, and it would seem really, really weird to drop some big news on a Monday after doing reveals for nearly a week. I'd love to be wrong. |

That's the "product year." RSC should have E81 and possibly E82 in before the end of the year. if elite 80 Is in stock September elite 81 October and 82 November and 83 December maybe? Its like 7 or 8 sets a year, not 1 a month |

I already preordered Natalya and Mark Henry from DoD 1, and those are still the only figures I want from that set. I may swap Mark Henry’s head though. Not a fan of the head on this figure.
The only figure I want from DoD 2 is Beth Phoenix. I didn’t get to preorder her, so hopefully I’ll be able to find one is store.
I like the Joe in blue from the SvS set, so I may get that figure at some point. The only Joe I have now is in red, and I really like the blue.

Renders for the legends line were shown last year at SDCC, so the line has been in the works for more than a year, before almost anybody was taking AEW seriously as a company. If anything, I think it's more likely that Jazwares has been actively signing talent since the early stages of having the license while WWE has been stagnant. There have already been a few indications that Jeremy is actively looking to sign people to figure deals. |

I’m extremely happy with the reveals at this years SDCC !
I still have hope that we see some more ftitl’s tomorrow, but if not then I’ll still say that this has been a very awesome week !
Mattel has finally given the flashback & legends collectors a piece of the pie and I truly believe that Steve is to thank for that !

We might get more reveals around Ringside Fest time. I'll echo the people disappointed to an extent. I got a lot of stuff I wanted on that panel. New generation Lawler, Stunning Steve, Davey Boy, Ultimate Macho Man, a Piper with a headsculpt that actually  ing looks like him, WM X-Seven Chyna, WM IX Shawn and Dream Team Beefcake but there was also a lot of stuff shown that I just don't really care about too. I mainly collect legends now and rarely break from that to buy current era figures. Completely forgot about RSC. I guess my brain has written off 2020 and I'm on to 2021. I agree with your point. I collect legends, NXT, and some main roster figures. So I don't feel like I have a limited collection at all. But these reveals just leave my feeling flat. Blondes Austin is a top 3 want for me, and WM9 HBK, Lawler, and the UE Macho are THE look I've wanted for those guys. But I have those guys already. For me the fun of collecting is watching an era fill in with the mid card guys, fun gimmicks, etc. Without that, it just feels like we're spinning our wheels. I know there were the first time reveals, but Mae Young or Rocky Johnson don't move the needle for me. The line just feels so stagnant right now, and with no hope of changing on the horizon. I am hoping for Basics and Battle Packs. Basic 111 is shipping (early August) still don't know what Basic Nikki Cross looks like They announced basics 112, 113 and 115, along with some women for 115, 116, 117, but completely glossed over Basic 114 (unless that is a special wave, like Survivor Series) |

Aww bummer I wanted to see more. Everything we have seen looks pretty good so far excluding a few Missing details on some figures. Old heads y’all got sdcc hopefully RA fans get ringside fest 🤞

I don’t understand how people are disappointed. This was a great week for reveals.
I only collect Legends and Flashbacks - we’re in for a great year. Yes it’s strange that we’re getting Davey Boy and not Dynamite, Stunning Steve and not Flyin’ Brian, and the distribution issues are still there. But I would rather have the opportunity to get these than none of the above.
The main line looks great too. So many “first time in the line” figures and the quality is brilliant. That Io is nuts.
We all have the right to complain and criticise as at the end of the day it’s our hard earned money being spent. However, there’s a time and a place - it’s not now. Mattel has done a lot in the last 10 years and has done a lot to listen and reward us as fans of not just their product, but of wrestling in general.

I don’t understand either. There were a couple first time in the line, plus a bunch of other legend/flashbacks. People want more, they’re getting more. But it’s not good enough if it’s not exactly what they want.

Though, I am very grateful to RSC for carrying the Collector's Edition figures - it's one less headache for this UK collector! |
