Hello all, since this year has been an official dumpster fire, my depression is a little heavier, so I was trying to think of the little things, the simple things, that I am thankful for. We all know family and pets and such, but something as simple as a cold canned iced coffee, peanut butter and jelly, alphabetizing my cds, or even someone smiling at me are things I am thinking about. And a big one....a hug. Man I miss those.
Here's to hoping this interests some of you, and maybe makes us a little happier and connected. A cosmic high five to you all!
Much respect,
VPV

With this year basically being a right off, one of the things getting me through it is the weather. I live in Scotland and we are so used to rain, cold and dark nights. But since lockdown our weather has been amazing. Even today I went round to my grans and we sat out on her balcony just talking and enjoying the good weather. I've said it before, but if this happened in the winter it would be so miserable and everyone would be so much worse off feeling. So for one that's been good.
I've been staying at my mums during lockdown, and one of the things I love at hers is her shower. So simple, but I can literally just stand in there and enjoy it for 10-15 minutes. It's great!

It's summer in Chicago and there are people outside and I'll just say, hot chicks in short shorts!

*Running water *Wifi *Electricity *Roof over my head *I have lots of food options
Lots of people don't have that and some people should realize that whatever is going on with them could be much worse if even one of those things were not in their life and or were uncertain.

I and my dog agree, but the problem is the upkeep to keep it that way. Mow, water, fertilize, pray Texas rains, etc. Sometimes I think about using that as seen on tv grass stuff to lessen the upkeep...ha

I just aerate and seed every spring. Lots of seed and watering. I know I should fertilize but I’m too dumb
