I think they look good especially that Chris Jericho. My only problem is the lack of accessories for a few of the figures in the set. I feel like both Brandi and Cody could have come with an extra pair of hands or something so it won't feel so empty. Maybe most of the budget went to the Bucks and Jericho. Other than that I am looking so forward to this line.

Not sure if this has been answered but will these have ankle pivot?

Any chance someone could add these new pics to the thread? I don't have an instagram account.

Not sure if this has been answered but will these have ankle pivot? Just going by the pics I will say yes. The feet always look to be flush to the surface Even with the legs in wider stances. If they didn’t have the ankle pivots the feet wouldn’t be flush with the surface.

Matt’s eye shadow is even worse that Cody’s. They must be trying to use some true fx style technology for the paint applications but they need limit the use of that to just facial hair, eyebrows, and just the actual eye itself, not The eyelid and area around the eyes. I’m not Crazy about painted lips either. That and the skin tone on all of the figures is too pale. That could be what’s creating the stark contrast that we’re all responding negatively to.

Jeremy posted pics of the scale ring on his Twitter along with the Omega that comes with it. The Omega has fixed hair on that version.

I think people need to go and Google elite series 1. The mattel figures didn't get good until a few lines in. Punk, hhh, and others looked pretty rough in the beginning. The hhh and punk in particular looked bad. People are used to mattels NOW, with the true fx and new molds etc. But they have to find their footing and for the first series I have to say I'm impressed. I thought these would turn out worse but the Jericho gives me extreme hope. His torso and head look really fantastic. My ONLY concern for this line is the part choices. If we only get a few torsos and arms then I'll be disappointed. They need to make new arms and torsos that look like Jericho or Adam page. If we only get the tiny arms or ripped omega parts then I'll bow out. That's been mattels biggest issue to me. The part choices. However mattel makes different parts they just don't use them correctly. For instance, fandango has the perfect upper body for Rick rude yet he's still being given the cruiserweight torso and normal arms. Or Rollins still having tiny ass thighs. Or goldberg not getting a different torso like the cena or Kane one. They have the parts and don't use them right. But if the Aew figures don't even make the parts to begin with then there will be an issue. I can swap bigger arms onto my elite 26 billy gunn. I can't do that with the aew figures if they don't exist.

I’m glad I didn’t preorder these. Apart from Jericho, I really don’t like how these look.

Jumped in on the Mattel line right at the very start and while there were a few good ones here or there I felt the quality took a huge climb up around Elites 14-15, and then once again a few years ago. I'm confident these will be better than we think (it really does look like those initial protos just had the worst lighting imaginable) and that these will gradually get better too.

The only thing wrong with his first elite was the hair piece just sat on top of his head not blended into the scalp so it looked like he was wearing a cheap toupee, but on the best of figure they blended the hair and scalp together that it looked like it was part of his head instead of a separate piece.

Why is it SO HARD to make a great Jericho face? And I mean ... in the history of action figures too! Same with Edge.

Jericho has had some really nice ones with Jakks. Best of WCW CS 21 WM19(?) it was the match vs Triple H in green And there were a few others that were rest good with Jakks. And Mattel’s DM is phenomenal as well.
