It was a strange time to be a Warrior fan. He had just vanished yet again and there was no explanation for it. You'd have him in some sporadic advertising into the first few months of 1993 then that was it. Back then, we had to dig through the PWI mags to get some kind of scoop. I was hoping for Warrior to appear on the U.S.S. Intrepid to slam Yoko in his '91 Rumble gear lolIf he stayed past 92 I can definitely see him being the guy who slammed Yoko on the Intrepid.

Do you think he wins title #2 at SummerSlam 93? Or does he simply slide into what Luger ended up doing through Mania 10?

I could see Vince giving him another title run during that time period. His first run was subpar so why not give another go and see what happens.

And I dont know if it's just me, but as a 3rd grader back in 1990, Warrior as champ was a big deal. Him and Hulk were 1:1 with merch and every kind of likeness had them both wearing the title. Yes, business was beginning to slip, but it would not been any different had Hogan retained at WM6. It was just time for that era. As for WMX, maybe Warrior takes it at SummerSlam 93, then Mania X is the same coin flip but players in different roles. Yoko takes the belt from Warrior in the first match with Mr. Perfect shenanigans, leading to Bret taking the belt in the second match, 1) to protect Warrior and 2) Yoko goes down in infamy by winning and losing the strap on two consecutive WrestleMania's, leading to him being embarrassed with a chip on his shoulder, feuding with the Hitman in a series of unsuccessful return matches on the UK tour before sliding over to Undertaker, and Bret moves on to Owen. Also, Warrior gets out of the title picture to settle with up with Hennig in a semi-main program.

Warrior vs Narcissist Lex Luger sounds pretty good to me tbh
