i'd say macho man. the best likeness of him is from the then, now, forever series and even that one wasn't perfect. second best was elite 23, but it looks almost...sad? i guess? i feel like that one could benefit from the modern truefx. the worst part about those 2 sculpts is that they've both been used only once Best Savage was indeed the then, now, forever late WCW look. All others aren't even really close.

Sasha Banks, is the one that never gets a good head scan.

I think a big issue of Edge and HBK is the paint apps they do to them. They are awful. Never been able to nail down their color hair even.
Mine are Macho Man Edge HBK Bret Hart Braided Davey boy (looks like his son. So much that a friend was out with Harry at a store and Harry laughed and said it looked just like him, not his dad.) Shane's heads have seemed off to me

Edge The first ringside exclusive did the hair mold perfect, but the face and facial hair is almost always 100% off as well as the body type

Shawn michaels for sure. IYH DX may be the one figure which I couldn't even guess the superstar by solely looking at the head.
Really hope they re-attempt one day.

Becky lynch, or maybe the paint job is always the thing that makes it look off slightly.

Bret hart for sure. For some of the trickier likenesses, I wish they'd go external. This sculpt is perfect in my oppinion.

TNF Randy Savage is one of my top 10 favorites The thing I never really understand is when they *do* nail a likeness, why not take full advantage of it? TNF Macho looks great, while the others look little to nothing like him. I'm sure they can take the facial render and change the hair or de-age it a bit to be used for younger Macho. The same for HBK, where the WM14 sculpt is amazing, and the others are mostly trash. We have what, 4 figures from late 97-early 98? Why not mod the hair and use that head for all four? If the excuse is "we only have so much budget for tooling," I'd much rather have had that head with the DM than the two new heads we got.

Just piggybacking off of what was said already: Bret Hart, HBK and Edge were the first ones to come to mind.

i think some ppl just got weird faces. Not in the sense of weird looking. But some sorta scientific biological thing where it makes their likeness harder to capture.
Look at Bret Hart, Edge & Shawn Michaels, in any medium. Be it a videogame or an action figure. They are continually a problem for ppl to capture correctly.
Mattel has done a decent job with HBK i think. Not perfect. but better than other ppl have been able to do in replicating his face

I think the UE Bret looks just like him. I remember reading somewhere that it's harder for sculptors to capture the likeness of good looking people because they have nothing to latch onto when creating the sculpt. I have no idea if that's true or not, I'm not an artist. That makes a lot of sense. If there’s no distinguishing marks, the sculpt itself has to be spot on to even look presentable. Whereas, with people with imperfections and noticeable features, whether it be missing teeth, a huge beard, a mole, etc., are easier to capture even if the sculpt itself isn’t perfect.

I think Braided Davey boy (looks like his son. So much that a friend was out with Harry at a store and Harry laughed and said it looked just like him, but his dad.) That's understandable of course. That braided headscan always reminded me of Brian Christopher.

Ambrose and Edge. The upcoming Mox looks a lot better. E32 Ambrose was pretty good at the time but otherwise they all looked barely resembled him

Chris Jericho is another one they never quite nailed. He had decent heads, but none that were great.

Macho Man. The only one that nailed it was the Wrestlemania 8 version.
