There’s not much that we need to hear from Bill since Steve has been very interactive and answers everything he possibly can and the design specific questions that only Bill can answer rarely get asked at these things anyway. That being said, I like Bill and since he’s pretty much never interacts with the fig community anymore (and rightfully so) it’s nice to hear his responses the 2-3 times a year at these events. Even if they are mostly generic answers to dumb questions. I had the pleasure of meeting him at wrestling shop live in the uk and he was a gentleman. Quite quiet and not outgoing but was very friendly and open with everyone and chatted to anyone who wanted to chat with him. I think the problem is people expect specific answers to any question they pose but like every business some things are confidential, others are genuine unknown. The fact they are a company who licenses from another company only further complicates what can and can’t be discussed at times. People who complain about they answers need to think, Do Apple tell people 24 months in advance what the new iPhone will look like, the specs, the features etc? Did PlayStation give us all the specs or tell us what launch titles will be on the ps5 before the official unveiling? Do they discuss with the general public why certain titles were picked for launch and others not? Likewise do they have the same discussions about ps5 exclusives? Imo people expect too much

God I hope so. I don't want to miss gems like: Time will tell. Its a possibility down the line. Not likely, but you never know. 10-15 more softball questions we already know the answer to. More <insert belt> are coming. Its just a matter of figuring which wrestler it should be included with. Puzzled look on his face - I didn't know there was demand for <insert wrestler people are begging for> ... No plans as of now. Its something we'd like to do if we had the chance. Things could change. We need to see if we can fit <insert wrestler people are begging for> into a line up. Can I have Dino Bravo now? Yes, more AJ Styles figures are planned. This is one of my favorite figures I've been working on- shows a diva that later rots on shelves. Haha dude this is right on. So true and it makes me mad they even interview him.

You can literally copy and paste every one of his answers for every question he's has ever been asked.
In other words, there's no need.

Who can forget that classic gem when bill said he was "surprised" there was so much demand for harley race. If mattel ever made a Bill figure, that's a good choice for a defining moment. The packaging could say "Includes authentic confused look head scan". Sadly, it would outsell the Nakamura DM. Let's also not forget time they brought in another mattel guy with Bill for an interview on retros who claimed he always looked at his hasbro collection and felt it was missing an Iron Sheik.

Quite quiet and not outgoing but was very friendly and open with everyone and chatted to anyone who wanted to chat with him. That was basically my experience as well meeting him at SDCC last year: I was staring at the Masters figures trying to make them change into Retro figures with my mind somehow, and he sort of appeared from the side somewhere; I was almost star-struck given how famous he is here, but we had a good chat about his trips to London for Wrestling Shop, the Ultimate figures that they had on display, some of my favourite past figures of his, and he tolerated my childish bleating about the Retros not returning - a pleasure is exactly how I’d describe meeting him as well. My only complaint about him is that when I met him again on Sunday morning he declined to help me steal the Slim Jim Macho Man they had on display after it sold-out at the Con for the fourth-straight day I maintain that we’re very lucky to have Bill and Steve involved with the Mattel team, but agree that we’re not going to get the answers to the questions many collectors want answered - we should know this by now.
