So that Shane McMahon return basic has been bothering me for awhile now.
I know, right? Of course it would bother ME. But regardless, it does. So I've photoshopped my idea for a custom that I hope to someday make. (Although right now I lack the capabilities because I cannot torso crack)
Head: Modern Shane Head Repainted (Hopefully I can grab a TrueFX one for this, but the example here is the original version) Top half: Basic BP Shane Repainted (The jacket was actually a dusty navy and the shirt was pretty much white) Bottom half: Dean Ambrose Summerslam Elite Repainted (He's wearing dress jeans here, very very dark blue) Shoes: Whatever it takes to get the sneakers to look right.
The big What If here are the shoes. Obviously, I don't just want to use the shoes from the BP Shane (They're clown feet), but I don't know enough about figure feet to know how to swap them out. Ideally, I'd swap the Ambrose shoes out for a pair of regular Shane Elite Sneakers, repaint them, and then Milliput on the flappy tongue.
Anyway, what do you think? Any suggestions on how to make this? Let me know.
PS: The photos I used for this are from RSC but the one logo got wrecked when I was 'shopping. So they get credit for the base images.
The SummerSlam 2018 basic is the best Shane headscan, I put it on my Elite 50.
Absolutely, I agree.
Hands down. Even with the pesky facial hair.
The problem is, that figure is getting rather hard to come by. I try to keep an eye out on the 'bay for good deals, but they're few and far between.
But god, those E50 figures, they're a plague. You can get those dirt cheap.
I still don't undestand why his second Modern Elite is so hard to get though? It's a pretty trash figure, and you have to repaint the head just to make it look decent, but that's the Elite that you can never find. The only one I've managed to get ahold of is even more trash than standard. The paint apps are off on it.
I had once sworn I would never buy a Shane figure until they gave him his proper hair color again. Well, fast forward a few years and a painful realization later (that it's never gonna happen) and I'm playing catch up.
