It’s official Naya Rivera’s body was pulled from the lake this morning. Very tragic outcome on many levels. Rest In Peace.

She had a son who was left in the boat while she went for that fateful swim They were both swimming, but I am reading the sheriffs office is saying that she struggled to get her son out of the water while the wind was forcing the boat to drift away from them. But by the time she got him out of the water she was to exhausted from that to get herself out. I am guessing they are piecing it together from what the son told them.

Very sad 😢 Thank god her son is ok and she was amazing to save him if she did. I watched glee. My daughter just started watching it a few weeks ago

Sad ending. I was unaware of currents in lakes, I thought that was an ocean thing.

Sad ending. I was unaware of currents in lakes, I thought that was an ocean thing. They’ve been saying within the last 20(?) years or so 10 or 11 people have drown in this lake and some of those were they got caught in whirlpools. Which I was surprised to hear.

That is something I hadn't heard of before. Now time to google whirlpools..thank you sir.

Sadly, like you said, it was pretty much the outcome everyone knew would happen, but most hoped against. Like with Shad's scenario though, she did what I would think any good parent would do, and put the safety of her child first, above even her.
