Chello all, mentioned before that we have the new Wrestling Trader Podcast every 2 weeks starting from next week, we had our first (non WT week) episode released on Wednesday covering news from the different figure companies. See below for the link to the audio Podcast. We have the Wrestling Trader guys on next week with some update, news and hopefully a reveal for you all linktr.ee/3poaJust added it to my phone app and downloaded "New Blood Rising" for the gym tomorrow!  I started listening a few days ago and haven’t had a chance to finish. The banter is inviting and I appreciate the knowledge and upbeat nature. That said, I have a few criticisms: At times it sounds as though it is being recorded in a tin can. Epic Toys should invest in some better mics at a minimum. There didn’t seem to be any transitions from what I heard. Segments with stings, clips, music, whatever can go a long way. It doesn’t need to be morning radio but it definitely helps with timing and keeping interest. The local references are a bit much. If you are aiming exclusively at UK listeners, cool. But it can be a turnoff at times to feel excluded from the conversation so to speak. Not trying get into whataboutism; Americans are just as guilty of this and I don’t care for it either. This isn’t a major complaint rather a suggestion for improvement. I’m not going to tell a chef how to do their job but it doesn’t mean we all don’t have preferences for the way something is seasoned. Looking forward to finishing the first episode and hearing future ones! |

We will be adding in different segments going forward so it’s not just a news snooze every 2 weeks for it. The audio should be better this week for it and moving forward. |

Which figures did you order? Personally speaking, I'm waiting on Blue Hatstacks and re-release Dynamite Kid. If both ordered at the same time then I suspect you will be getting these very soon, they are working through the “combo” orders last which will be the reason for the delay |

It would also be a tremendous amount of work to spend years maintaining a separate fake Instagram that just posts wrestling memes, merch, and the occasional live show. It was refreshing to hear the voices behind Epic Toys/Chella give honest answers and not really dance around things. They talked about all of the issues prior to them taking over, spoke about Zombie Sailor by name, addressed the overwhelming amount of people messaging them daily, and so on. I loved the bit about how much their new business is ruining their kids lives and how they hate wrestling. The husband and wife bickering a bit was entertaining as well. Can’t wait for the eventual heel turn! They dropped so much information in a short amount of time that I really couldn’t keep track of it. That isn’t a criticism; I was just doing three things at once so I can’t remember who is slated to be released next. -I think one of them said Demolition and the other said R&B Greg. -They are moving forward with their Funko style line. -They showed interest in redoing Ethan Page and Bull Nakano -They are working on having protectors made for their standard retro style releases as well as their tag team figures. -Andre is having his head redone. -Their Uncensored line takes considerably more work and time than the Megastars. Honestly, if you are a collector of any retro figures, you should give this episode a listen. It is nice to know who you are supporting and also it’s best not to rely on my faulty memory for exact details! |

I received my Al Snow and Gangrel today. They seem pretty good - kind of regret getting them in the end because I'm not much of an AE era collector when it comes to these but oh well.
