I'll let you know! I've reached out to WT twice in the past few weeks about my Dynamite Kid and Adam Bomb order which was supposed to ship in December but haven't heard anything back. It's frustrating because I need to update my shipping details so I'm worried they will ship it without the update. I'm over this company. That’s the absolute worst and there’s no excuse imo Even a “sorry we’re working through things, we hope all ordered will be fulfilled by x” or similar but to not reply is poor service, unprofessional and rude. Especially when they have the time to put out new releases and they’re obviously working on those - fulfil the orders you already have I made a couple of orders march till june or something 2022 directly from chella with almost the whole chella range and recieved 1 figure so far. Back then i said, ship some of the orders together so i can save shipping Costs which was an offer from them. I never got any money back and i am Sure they Keep my extra shipping money anyway. About 3 Months ago i worte to WT they now shall send me the single orders asap, incl figures that are out for months now, but nothing happend. this is still cool for me, Shows how crazy i am for retros, cause i hope one Day i will have something in my hands. but sometimes i really think its crazy and i am Sure WT has 1 Person who completes the old chella orders for like 2 hours a Day.... |

I appreciate the shoutout on the previous Epic Toys episode. The opening is more pleasant lol but you’ll have to find something better to put in there eventually. Also, thanks for the geography and history lesson ya bus wankers! Having 3+ people on the show feels like a much better dynamic. Tippy came across well. It can be a bit rough with artists sometimes but the Tippster made for a good interview/flow. The ball-busting of the WSW name was appreciated as it is embarrassing. Curious to know who Tippy can’t talk about…maybe you can get a cheap hotel room and place a camera on an unbalanced tripod for a shoot interview. The new reveal was kind of cool. Not sure that person fits in with my collection personally…but I look forward to seeing how it turns out. Spoiler below for anyone who isn’t able to listen: Missy Hyatt Constructive criticism: I’m big on structure. It might be undiagnosed OCD or my years spent in media production but I feel like the show would benefit from not only segments but opening up with a rundown of what the major discussions will be on this episode (and then launching into the biggest news item or interview). Talking about things company by company or line by line is helpful when appropriate. Edit: I started re-listening to the episode. Sounds like they will debut a new intro next episode. We are working on an intro jungle for sure. In regards to segments and stuff, we are working on trying out different ideas we have together and seeing what works. The last thing we want is absolute nonsense just for the sake of adding another segment if you know what I mean you bumder? |

They have put an update on insta
In short they have insufficient undamaged stock to fulfill orders so have more in production
Prob worth having a look of your waiting on something from them

We will see if they come through. If I don’t have my Bluestacks and Big Daddy by 3/31 I will most likely be done with Chellepics. |

I have given them a bit of stick on twitter for keeping announcing new lines or new figures before sorting out the back log of figures announced a year ago first, they bit back so I bit back. Essentially if you inherit a s** show deal with it. In regards to the Sabu figure.

I don't see many second hand Myers or Cardonas raking in the big bucks, the 2020/2021 bubble of collecting may well be bursting

I guess there'll always be a little group of people who'll be willing to shill out a wedge for some of this stuff, but me personally, I'm not arsed enough about modern wrestling figures to pay more than £20-30 for something I really like, never mind something I'm not really interested in. I collect other things that I'm willing to pay a bit more for, so wrestling figures aren't coming anywhere near the top of my wishlist.

2020/21 was peak in my collecting, so I had a great time whilst everyone was selling up rarer stuff. But I agree, the prices have dipped on everything and I don't think we'll see a boom like that, especially with the cost of living crisis, for a decade or more. That's my honest thought on it. If you look through eBay, especially at Classic Superstars which is my line I focus on, it's all ridiculous priced "Buy it Now" listings that ain't going anywhere in a hurry. The bubble burst over a year ago and now those that did buy in the peak are trying to get their money back, or the scalpers that bought to resell are struggling to make a profit now. |

Finally had the opportunity to listen to the 3POA podcast. Unfortunately I’ve been sick so the details are a little fuzzy for me. It was great of Epic Toys to go back and change the alternate masked/hooded/helmeted heads so that one appeared to be Smash (instead of using the same head twice which would have been reasonable). I think using magnets will be a good choice…time will tell! I wouldn’t mind a weekly “Ask Irish Siri” segment.
Low point: the guys clearly aren’t familiar enough with NJPW so hearing them discuss some of the guys was a bit rough.
Not a lot of breaking news this week but I have a feeling next week/the week after will have a ton more to discuss. It is nice to listen to figure discussion and not have it feel like a major chore to get through.
