Got my Bluestacks yesterday. Big Daddy and Sabu left. When these have arrived the Chella desaster will be over for me. Not sure if I will continue with the line. They really killed the enthusiasm for me. We will see.

I think the turning point will be when Series 2 is shipped - how long people are waiting for S2 figures from the day they're announced as shipping, and whether their factory can ship their stock without damage (water/bubbles/card etc)
I honestly have a feeling that the problems were of previous Chella management's making - they obviously skipped a lot of corners, and the Wrestling Trader team are picking up the pieces. Series 2 is their chance to regain trust, but Series 3 is where the true test lies - can they deliver on the promises they've made as Series 3 is not a "Chella" line, it's the start of Epic. but will there be enough people willing to take the risk on buying products from the new management, and still confident that they can deliver

The Demolition will be the first release where Epic Toys will show what they can do, from pre-order to release date I mean. cheers, and I know that you're close to Luke and Kate (I'm a listener) but you really need to help us spread the message, they're in control of a great opportunity to refresh such a toxic brand.
if it were me, I wouldn't even put the pre-order online until their factory have committed to a date to manufacture, package and ship by.
ideally, they wouldn't even be going into pre-orders and would use the data from past sales to help create a first run volume, with an additional second run if their first run "sold out" - and ideally only make the pre-orders live once the first shipment was on the water. at least that way would allow buyers the chance to receive their products asap, rather than the previous months (years?) on end wait with zero comms or conflicting info, but maybe it's too early for that, but it needs to be their goal.
there's a lot riding on Demolition and Series 3, we just need to get past Series 2 and get figures in hand for people to have some confidence in the future

Will be as close as they can get it to factory dates, pre-orders are great for the earlier money of course but also can help prepare get things ready for shipping before the item comes in as you can imagine. Excited to see series 2 in people’s hands and have that first bit of faith restored.

No. In fact I was told that Bluestacks and Big Daddy would be send together despite being ordered separately. Anyway… In all honesty I really don’t want to spread any negativity here, but the WT-excitement is gone. I know they will deliver (rather later than sooner) but that’s it. I am not even looking forward to the figures anymore. They are 3 months overdue from their self proclaimed timeframe. I am done, really.

I honestly felt like that with the Uncensored Dynamite, but once I had it in hand I was happy and felt a bit silly complaining. I’m not saying you’re being silly, I’m just saying that once the figures reach your hand you enjoy them and are glad you ordered them in the first place. I get with WT that they’re trying to work through a backlog of Chella orders as well as their own orders, so I think they deserve a bit of credit for getting the orders out as best they can. I’m not all in on the figures going forward, but I’ll be buying a few and I’ve got every confidence that once WT get the line going in their direction, it’ll be a lot faster and a lot better in years to come.

It will be the batch of Blue Haystacks that arrived damaged then, guessing you’re a MOC collector and the loose ones are no good to you?

Will Epic have any of their planned retros out before Christmas this year? We're nearly 6 months in and they've just about finished getting Chella's stuff out from moons ago.

Will Epic have any of their planned retros out before Christmas this year? We're nearly 6 months in and they've just about finished getting Chella's stuff out from moons ago. as far as I'm aware, their expectation is to get Chella Series 2 out (Haku/Tanga/BWO) and their hope is that will begin in the next few weeks (I believe they were hoping it would be well underway in May, but it's been held back to June) so presumably should be completed in July?
from there, Wrestling Trader's "era" of Epic are going live with preorders for Demolition and Powers of Pain at some point in June, with a view to shipping figures with a much shorter timeframe from preorder close to shipping figures. Whether that means that figures will be in collectors hands by the end of August remains to be seen, but they're saying it will definitely be a lot quicker than anything Chella did
personally I think these companies will need to stop preorders, and just move to a direct sales approach - company pays to manufacture the figures (they have enough data to work out the optimum volume needed to generate solid profit, without oversupply for a manufacturer to begin an initial run of figures) and then sell them direct to customers with immediate shipping. no more waiting months on end, and if Epic aren't doing this before January 2024, they'll struggle to keep interest from the market

I think it’s more likely there will be a new figure company announced doing hasbro style figures before we get another figure from any of these companies in hand
