I’ve been looking forward to Haku arriving (didn’t order the others as they don’t fit my era of interest), but to be honest it hasn’t hit the spot for me unfortunately. While it was cool to be holding an official Haku figure in my hands, once I put it with some hasbros, the scale just seems a bit off. Kind of like Luna ( but obviously nowhere near as bad - really don’t know what happened with that one), everything seems a bit small. Tiny feet and hands, body doesn’t seem thick enough and is too ripped for my liking. And mine has the leaning back/ falling back issue too; which can be corrected by bending feet forward a bit - but within an hour or so he’d fallen back again. I know this probably sounds like harsh criticism, but it’s really not intended to be. They seem like great guys and I admire what they’re doing and sincerely wish them all the best; but sadly this figure really hasn’t hit the spot for me. On the contrary I think in your photo the Haku looks excellent in terms of scale. Height is same not just head to toe but at the waist and shoulders too. You'd also expect feet to be smaller than boots, Wrestling boots are massive. Maybe very very slightly skinny like you say but remember original Hasbros had the same issue depending on the mold used. My critique would be the skin tone. Still haven't quite nailed that. By scale I mean scale, not height. The height is fine; but to me Macho has a bigger upper body. Haku is a tick muscular dude, to me the overall scale seems small and too ‘in proportion’ - which I know sounds absurd but I think part of the hasbro’s charm was being slightly out of proportion/ cartoony, with quite big fists etc. So for me, Haku doesn’t quite fit for my tastes.

Haku looks pretty close (like you said, the torso is a really big thing, but otherwise, it's not bad) -- but I understand not being super thrilled when the price point is so high. It's pretty decent though.

Not sure why companies say their website will be open from 10am then at 10:30 still not open… doesn’t fill you with much confidence. They had an error their end when going live, only a minor hiccup to cause the delay of half an hour

I really want to pull the trigger on these tag teams. But do we know if production is going to be any quicker than the past? Or are we still looking at over a year?

FC says that they will begin shipping Series 2 this weekend. Looking forward to receiving Haku and posting a review once in-hand.

Nah, Haku looks small to me, so you're not alone. Yeah I know Hasbro were all over the place, but these are new products with the ability to correct those mistakes. Scaling is all over the place with so many of these companies. My absolute favourite retro, Hayabusa, being a little big doesn't bother me cos he was a tall fella. Haku was a tank and that figure doesn't capture that for me.

If he was any bigger he’d look too tall next to Hasbro Andre though. I think height wise he’s fine. If anything he’s too thin and toned.

I gotta agree, with Haku looking too small/thin. He should be about the girth of Jim Duggan. I don't have mine in hand yet, hope I'm pleasently surprised, but I'm doubtful from what I'm seeing here.
Ordered Demo and PoP, I hope these newer ones will be better.

I know epic was left cleaning the mess chella made but they are in the wait and see phase for me. Let’s see them deliver these when they say they will and lll be a buyer next go round.

And I don’t want to hear no garbage about the Chinese new year or that they’re on a boat.

Couldn’t agree more. This series 2 are Chella figures and I see them as that. The time to judge Epic is with PoP and Demolition, and at this point they look closer to Hasbros than anything else imo.

I thought the G&G looked most like hasbro from the production sample pics But then on cardona’s vid thry looks really cheap so I’d love to have one in hand to make my mind up I think when we get to Epic doing their own figures they really need to hit it out the park to impress. Hopefully they can do it

Epic’s new website and photos/graphics are hands-down the best out there. Sure there are some minor things they could change but it does a great job of focusing on the products! Hats off to Action Figure Cellar. epic-toys.co.uk/Agreed The black background with subtle light and lighting on the figure is very classy Similar to the Star Wars Lego 18+ boxes for people familiar

That Valentine puts the slab headed Mattel one to shame in every aspect including the guitar.

Hats off to Action Figure Cellar. epic-toys.co.uk/Ok, I think I really pooped the bed by not pre-ordering this Greg Valentine. I (mistakenly) thought the Mattel version looked better. But, seeing these pics, I think I’m gonna have to try and buy one.
