Not aimed towards you. From my understanding you are not involved in Epic Toys but are just the guy who tries his best which is highly appreciated, but it shouldn’t be necessary. 🍻 I get that, we do the Podcast for Epic Toys so we are somewhat involved. If you haven’t been looking through Social Media (which is obviously fine) then you might not have seen the same updates with the company and the takeover as the rest of us have. I get that as a customer you shouldn’t need to be constantly seeking to find updates on the figures you’ve ordered but of course the situation with Chella is fairly unique so I’m sure once we are out the other side of it there will be plenty of shoulda woulda couldas. Any news or updates I will try to get them on here too so these aren’t missed if someone hasn’t got Social Media or anything

*UPDATE* just opened my figures and have to say, I'm very impressed at a few of them, these are my initial thoughts bWo Nova is a great figure, bit of a unique pose choice but looks great and really solid figure, just looks the business! like it a lot Stevie Richards is a good figure, sadly I think the body isn't the best - his torso seems stockier than his legs and arms should be, they just feel "thinner" than I'd expected but the face looks good Meanie is ok, looks great in the dance pose but if you bring his arms down, he's almost T-Rex like but otherwise, it's a good figure. I only bought one, so if I get another I might try and swap out the arms for something like Daddy/Haystacks arms Tanga Sleeper of the set IMO guys! great looking figure, great pose and I worried the head sculpt would be squished (a couple of pics of the prototypes made it look weird) but in hand, it's a great figure, even the hair has different layers of colour so it looks like they took their time to get him right, rather than rush out a half-completed figure as the unwanted extra! I REALLY like it, and think it's a welcome inclusion in the collection! Haku The main event. And, I think it's a solid figure! The body looks stocky (weirdly, not as stocky as Stevie!) but he looks really good, the outfit is spot on - tape on the wrists and ankles, with a black band on the left foot, plus the little crown logo, that's a good figure. The crown is good, doesn't sit perfectly on his head (seems to keep slipping up and off) but I usually put accessories in a bag, so it can go away with the various belts/gear I've accumulated over the years until I get round to crowning a new King of the Ring (maybe I'll wait for Mattel' sD-X Billy G) LOL! on the whole, good solid set, I really think Tanga is a good figure so there's bound to be a few on ebay soon enough but I think you'd do well to pick one up if you haven't already!

Mirroring my thoughts exactly there, Stevie could be a little bulkier but certainly a solid inclusion. I saw the final stages of Tanga a few months back and was shocked at how far it had come since to OG picture we saw

Haku just arrived. Decent figure. Card has quite a bend so if you’re a MOC enthusiast you may be disappointed.
Overall, happy with the figure but 13 months since original order.

I’ve been looking forward to Haku arriving (didn’t order the others as they don’t fit my era of interest), but to be honest it hasn’t hit the spot for me unfortunately. While it was cool to be holding an official Haku figure in my hands, once I put it with some hasbros, the scale just seems a bit off. Kind of like Luna ( but obviously nowhere near as bad - really don’t know what happened with that one), everything seems a bit small. Tiny feet and hands, body doesn’t seem thick enough and is too ripped for my liking. And mine has the leaning back/ falling back issue too; which can be corrected by bending feet forward a bit - but within an hour or so he’d fallen back again. I know this probably sounds like harsh criticism, but it’s really not intended to be. They seem like great guys and I admire what they’re doing and sincerely wish them all the best; but sadly this figure really hasn’t hit the spot for me.

I've got to say this now, having had them on the shelf and in the new light of day, I've noticed - the early Chella figures were quite chubby, but the newer figures (including FC's Gangrel) are closer to more detailed/cleaner figures all round
it's almost like you need two displays - one for the early Chella figures, and now the later figures starting around Adam Bomb/Hayabusa are much nicer to look at, and the Haku/Stevie/Nova fit very closely to Al Snow and Gangrel, they look like a whole series with a more consistent format for the look and feel of the figures
Aldis is closer to Meanie/Josh/Jay White and there's a line in the sand between early Chellas and the new figures
looking forward, I expect the PoP/Demolition to fit in alongside the newer figures, so looking forward to seeing the PoP on the shelf!

I loved the interview, also gave us a nice insight into who's now going to be doing a Mr Fuji figure (excited to see this happening in the future. Don't want to post spoilers here but interview had lots of news and I'm genuinely excited about how things are going forward with Epic Toys. So happy they're re doing Andre's head too, kinda looked like a young Tom Jones before....lol.

Mr 3poajamie, do you know what the price point is for the figures tomorrow? (UK orders) I didn't order series 2 just because the wrestlers didn't interest me but both these tag sets do.

On the contrary I think in your photo the Haku looks excellent in terms of scale. Height is same not just head to toe but at the waist and shoulders too. You'd also expect feet to be smaller than boots, Wrestling boots are massive. Maybe very very slightly skinny like you say but remember original Hasbros had the same issue depending on the mold used. My critique would be the skin tone. Still haven't quite nailed that.

Not sure why companies say their website will be open from 10am then at 10:30 still not open… doesn’t fill you with much confidence.
