Do we know if the Headbangers (or any Wrestle Something figures) have had their scale fixed from the swoggle/Luna (and even Chella Haku) issues? I didn’t get the Chelsea Green figure, but if I recall the correctly the scale was supposed to be ‘fixed’ for her figure; but it still looked a little off from pics I saw.

I really need to have my wife creating an OF account. Just too much stuff to get and don’t really want to miss anything.

So, in an update to my ongoing Wrestling Trader saga…
August 8th: I asked if they had any damaged card Giant Haystacks left. August 10th: They responded that they had. So I ask to have that, rather then wait for them to receive the new stock. The response was: “Yes, no worries at all. I will arrange for that to be sent to you as soon as possible.”
August 22nd: I enquired as to when I would be receiving my order, as I would have thought I should have had it in the intervening Two weeks. August 23rd: They responded with: “Apologies for the delay. We are currently despatching Series 2, so our to-do list is taking a little longer to complete than we would like. We will hopefully have this out to you by the end of the week.”
September 12th: I buy a carded Blue Giant Haystacks figure from EB for £37.87 September 13th: I have told Wrestling Trader that I know longer want my order from them, & to return my money - as the level of service I have received has been shocking.
in between this going on I received my Haku figure from them. What? They couldn't send the Three figures together? Terrible service.
They better come through with the Powers of Pain figures, or I'm finished with them - I've already given them more chances then they deserve.

Simple answer for this situation would be that they package the items and then put the postage label on them so may not have seen that you had multiple orders and the label would only say the weight of the items in the order. The Haystacks thingy isn’t great but I imagine they would have got round to it but appreciate you now have the figure at least. Sure they will sort the refund out for you soon

I'm just relieved that I don't have to keep chasing it up anymore. I won't have the original Dynamite Kid figure, but its no big loss - I'll wait for the Bulldogs 2 pack.

I just received the Series 2 set and for the most part the set came out pretty good but why is Stevie Richards so tiny. He doesn’t even look like he should fit in with the rest of the set.

Annoyingly the molds were set from Chella before the takeover so it was too late to change them, I get the impression that they used different sculptors for each figure and they all didn’t talk to each other

Finally received my first order from asylum. After a long 14 months waiting, my blue meanie card has a wicked bend in it. Pretty bummed , Appears maybe the shipping box was too small or packed wrong. Haku looks nice and card is good shape but scale a little off as others pointed out. I’m still happy with him . Between these arriving , Mattel 4 pack heels and faces “arriving any day now “ then M.O.M shipping very soon , my Retro collection will have a grown relatively quickly.

My Series 2 figures are arriving soon. I’m quite displeased with Epic’s decision to continue with the molds that were used by Chella. In my opinion, Epic knew these molds were unsatisfactory, but, decided to continue with them under the guise that the figures were “too far along” to make changes. I think it is just an excuse to save face. We’ll have to see how future figures turn out. They’re not even offering any refunds. For shame.
I wonder if any podcasts will use my opinion as fact and make Epic look bad. I sure hope no one does….

Just making sure we’re having fair, consistent discussions regarding ALL shortcomings. It’s unbecoming to use one’s platform to spread misinformation. And just for the record, I’ve purchased figs from ALL of the creators thus far. I just want to make sure all creators have an even playing field.

The Stevie Richards thing is something I have wondered about too. BWO figures didn’t interest me so I didn’t purchase them. I haven’t had them in hand but I do seem to hear that same complaint echoed pretty unanimously that Stevie was undersized.
What I would like to know is at what stage in the game did Epic know about this? Molds are known to be expensive. Sculptors aren’t free either. So it sounds like the call was to produce the figure with what they had and hope that the backlash or the unhappiness would be minimal. But if they didn’t realize it was small…that is a sign of a quality issue. If that is the truth of the matter, please put Mr. and Mrs. Epic in touch with me immediately.

Molds would have been made and pre-orders would have been sold based off those molds so they had to stick with them. Switching to a different mold would have cost a bucket load too. For the record too, they haven’t refused any refunds as far as I’m aware.

This is news as I was only ever aware Charles was making decisions until I tried to help out last summer Sure, inputs from different people and not having a set person doing set jobs for consistency. Would explain why the molds for the figures are all over the place, you know more about the dealings behind the scenes when Charles was in charge but it seemed that he was going to different people for different figures for molding etc…
