It’s from Halloween Havoc 97 if that helps? I know the era, I just mean the arms feel like they're more like a Greg Valentine figure or Giant Haystacks than one of the Bulldogs, and the torso just looks somewhat "sparse" compared to the likes of the recent Dynamite, I know Eddie wasn't as toned back then but it just looks blander than I was expecting/hoping
will see what it's like when it arrives tho, it's definitely getting bought, I just may not bother in buying two of them
I think if they added more muscle to the figure than the actual Eddie had then there would a lot of “Eddie wasn’t that jacked in that era” and I would have to agree with them. I get what you mean but it’s just the vision anyone at Epic had for the figure |

I get what you mean but it’s just the vision anyone at Epic had for the figure I do think his physique matches the match this is based on. And the attire looks good. I think this is, expectedly, a damned if you do and damned if you don’t scenario. I think Eddie’s World Title WWE attires were some of my favorites. And I hope and pray this isn’t a one and done scenario with Eddie. I’d love to see his NWO attire from when he won the world title. |

I think ChairShot nailed it, the chest could be a little bigger and/or wider. But the face looks great, if they nail that, it’ll all be fine

Think that would be enough to get them to return my calls? |

If you make the chest bigger then it would be out of proportion with the arms, waste and legs Obviously I appreciate this is your guys opinions but it wouldn’t work |

The smoothness is a hallmark of Grapplers and Gimmicks and less so with the Epic Toys releases over the past 6 months. It’s such a small thing but it’s literally the only thing that stands out as a way to improve it.That's a pretty big win.  |

I love this! The sculpt is much better than the previous prototype! Instant buy! Epic continuing to smash it!
In terms of the torso talk, I think it looks great. If I'd change anything it would be to add a bit more definition to Eddie's arms - veins etc. But that's being super picky. Matius magic again!

I think Eddie looks great. You can definitely see they’re going to a more realistic style than Hasbro cartoon style. Some great figures coming!

Just makes me sad that the only company who can release a Rey Mysterio retro is Mattel. And if he ever gets a figure he’ll be grossly out of scale compared to Eddie.

To add my two cents to this debate, he's lifting, stretching and flexing in those pictures, which is making his muscles appear ripped, but when relaxed he didn't have a great amount of ripped definition during that time. Either way I'm not too bothered if they change it or they don't. 🤷 |
