My two arrived this afternoon as well - wow, what a beautiful set it is! The packaging is seriously premium.
I’ve not had a chance to open a set yet, but the figures are obviously a huge improvement on the Aldis release.
Loving how this line is developing.

I have the Aldis figure and the Meanie 2 pack.
The Aldis figure is really bad in my opinion. It's like a bobble head. Really badly designed. Feet are tiny. Head massive. It's just rubbish.
The Meanie 2 pack is great however, a significant rise in design. A little big maybe when compared to some Hasbros, but still a nice figure.
I don't know who the announcer guy is, but the figure is good in terms of quality, and it looks like him on the packaging (which is great)
I won't be getting all the Chella figs as I don't know who a lot of them are to be honest, I only bought Aldis because he was the first. No idea who the woman is, or the Japanese guy. My ignorance I guess. Nearly didn't purchase the others based on Aldis being so bad, but glad I did now. I've got Ethan Page (thanks to AEW) and Dynamite Kid on pre-order.

Got my sets of Meanie but didn’t have a chance to open yet. Curious to see if Page is also included as I habe ordered him too.
I also put my order for 2 Hayabusa in today.

 I picked up an Aldis on eBay to keep carded to get signed. While I agree the figure could be better (it isn’t that bad, some of the Mattel Retros were far worse and the packaging is great), it propelled me to pick up Meanie from the same seller. This one is just amazing. I only wish it came single. I would’ve sought out a second to get signed if that were the case. At least the other guy has a cool microphone. |

Glad they found someone. They originally asked my wife to help them with current looking figures but she had to turn them down. Now it's Zombie's turn. Stop catering to old guys who want to relive something 30+ years ago and get with the times.

But they did good enough to deserve my further support. Meanie 2-pack is a huge improvement. Not perfect but a solid set - on par with Retros at least. I am looking forward to the next release. |

The person they are using now is not professional and has been known to engage in illegal activity. “Allegedly” I know you are joking but for the sake of clarity: There is nothing to allege when you have been openly selling bootlegs in the past. Benefit of the doubt, he doesn’t do that anymore. That doesn’t change the unprofessional and shady ways in which he continues to conduct himself. Again, benefit of the doubt - some people have a tendency to rub others the wrong way online and are sweethearts in real life. It does make me question someone as a distributor though which is one reason why I prefer to wait or pass on these items. |
