probably the only thing that confuses me about Chella's marketing is that they seem to let leaks of their products happen rather than announce their releases in a coordinated format
for example - we had the images of Giant Haystacks via various Instagram/Twitter feeds well before Chella themselves announced it from their own social media
then we had Bryan Clark announcing his own figures, and revealing the painted/finished prototype via his social media, rather than Chella announcing/revealing their own product for him to share onwards as a promotional thing
then you have Jay White and Joey Knight announcing that they're having figures made through Chella, which Chella themselves haven't properly announced or revealed
it's just a weird way to do promotion for your own company - let the signees announce and reveal their own stuff, which you then share/retweet about 24hrs after the images have going wild!!
to me, that's just a very odd way to do PR

The figures will sell themselves. What better way to advertise niche figures is to have the wrestler themselves advertise it. That way you've got a built in fanbase finding out first, then it'll spread faster. Not everyone is going to know who Chella are off the bat. They're not out here acting like they're a character themselves like someone else is out there acting like the Vince McMahon of the action figure world trying to get himself over by signing people. I like they way they're handling it.

indeed, and Chella have just confirmed that they're making a bWo version of Meanie!!! NICE WORK LADS! hopefully Meanie can suggest/recommend that Nova and Richards sign up to help make the bWo trio with Hollywood Nova and Big Stevie Cool

I’m so excited! And Nerds has finally shown some more pics of that upcoming Jay White. And I asked Chella about that a few days ago and they said news would be coming soon. So many awesome and amazing things coming for Hasbro/Retro figure fans! |

Ordered my 2 Adam Bombs through asylum! He's my 2nd Chella order, first being Bull. I looked long and hard again at Dynamite, I dunno, just looks like a strange sculpt to me. If I didn't already have a custom set of the Bulldogs, I'd probably order him though.

it's been about 2 weeks since Hayabusa landed in the US and various customers of JB/Figure Collections have received their figures, yet the UK supply only started to be shipped this week... bit of an odd business decision to let your partners receive stock before your brand has received its own #ohwell

I got my shipping notification for Hayabusa, which isn't a surprise since he's landing in people's hands.
what did surprise me is the Dynamite Kid I ordered at the same time is also in the box and in route

My thinking is maybe their distribution is handled by the production factory….and maybe that’s in China, and maybe stuff just gets to the US sooner than the U.K. 🤷🏻♂️ |

Has everyone seen the new Glow in the Dark Adam Bomb that Chella are doing? It looks incredible. I’m just starting to get into Hasbros and Retros in my collection, but I think both Adam Bombs I’ll be getting. They look brilliant!

Hayabusha definitely fits in with the Habsros better than the Iron Sheikh (which I think is a great Retro -- but the Hayabusha looks a lot more like a Hasbro)
