Got my POP and Demos today. Really impressive! Like others posted, my Demos were off the card when I opened the box. Fine since I was gonna open both anyway. Really nice quality on these, only nitpicks would be I wish Demos had waist articulation, and also Smash's facepaint is really matte, but Ax's is nice and shiney, maybe it's just the silver that has the gloss? Is that how everyone's sets are? Added in my custom Harts for some color, can't wait for the Bulldogs to ship. Hope somebody gets Strike Force and Brain Busters sooner than later, they would be nice add to these tag sets. Sorry to threadjack, but what type of glue did you use to get the blister on the card in the back (I.e. Austin). I did that with my Bravo and it came out pretty crappy because of the marks on the blister.

Think the most recent couple I did I used Gorilla quick dry gel.

One more pic, swapped to the masks and added WFW tag belts, one minor thing too I notice with the way the vests are molded, you have to put the belts on overtop them, little unrealistic, but still looks cool.

Your custom Hart Foundation looks so much better than the Mattel version, imo.

Mattel's would have been better if they'd of at least used silver wrap arounds on Bret, which they could have easily done. Did a headswap on this one. Bret head with the proper shades is hard to come by though, I'd like be able to redo my loose set too.

I really enjoy your lighting setup. Care to share what all you are using?

I really enjoy your lighting setup. Care to share what all you are using? bro I kid you not. For my Mythic Legions and Joes I have the works - soft box, lume cubes, ulanzi lights, goose necks, you name it. For these retro wrestling figures? It's on the countertop of my basement kitchenet area....I don't believe it myself, but the lighting feels way more natural for them than when I bring them into my "studio" haha it's weird, I don't know if the size or plastic quality has something to do with it. So in a nutshell, no lighting what-so-ever in this space, just basement pot lights.

lol that is surprising! What kind of fixtures are you using then because it’s this nice even lighting that looks soft and natural. The colors really pop with it so perhaps it is a mixture of the materials? Also what kind of camera/lens are you working with if you don’t mind me asking?
I have a ton of space in my home but only use my office/toy room to do any photography and it’s pretty atrocious lighting in there. The outside light is often a hindrance, the single lighting fixture is 12 feet up and looks like trash/is no help. The best luck I have is in the walk in closet where things are a bit warmer and more controlled. I’ve been considering doing a more permanent setup in there but it would mean removing some of my more permanent displays.

Also nothing special with the camera - an old DSLR Canon Rebel Ti7 with a macro lens.

That makes me feel even older (my DSLR is a T3i). I stopped using that camera as point and shoot and even cell cameras caught up in so many ways. That and every event I wanted to take it seemed to have an issue (not to mention it is a paint to travel with).

Any update on Sabu? I'm kind of nervous that epic has shown any out of the box shots like they did with the others and most recent British Bulldogs.

The last update Instagram post on Sabu was a photo of the figure out of the box There was a delay in getting the packaging sorted but they have been sent from the factory now and are on their way to retailers

This is just incredible. I love what mattel puts out but man they cant possibly compete if this is the new standard. Still curious on the size of these "deluxe" figures. Are they like the superstars figures? Anyways bravo!!! Cant wait to see the next deluxe figure. Any word where this will be sold and when.

OTHER: In July of 2020, Chela Toys started promoting a Hasbro/Retro style figure of Nick Aldis.
