Yeah, they weren't as good though, imo. I'm hoping for a more faithful rendition of the Galoob style, whereas those indie figs were sort of like mini statues, and super limited and hard to get hold of. I think the only retro name was Aldo Montoya, iirc.

Someone like Epic could do a great job putting out a line of Galoob style retro figures, with some names that Galoob didn't get to. It'd be cool to see some Hasbro names getting the Galoob treatment as well, like a Galoob Adam Bomb, etc. Pretty niche, but I'd be all over it.

Ah, right. Yeah I've seen a couple of guys doing similar stuff, but usually difficult to get hold of and not very cheap.

There was one lad, can't remember the name but he's probably appeared in a Galoob thread on here, who did outstanding work making Galoob style figures. He shrunk down LJN and OSFTM figures into Galoobs.

I'd absolutely love for any company to take a shot at it, as it's a sorely missed opportunity, IMO.

My question is simple - will we get to see Series 3 and Series 4 released (both manufactured and shipped to customers) during 2024?

Tbh I really like these figures, and I'm just debating whether to keep them carded or let them loose. Yours look great loose. The card really pops in the light, though. I almost wish my packaging wasn't so pristine as it'd make choosing to open them a lot easier!

I've actually been really fortunate with all of my retros, come to think of it, none have had damaged or bent cards.

Fwiw, I think they really go well with Hasbro, just a little more updated but not overly, which is my issue with some ZST releases.
