I believe Powertown have the monopoly on NWA figures (Cardona coming with the NWA title and Powertown liking exclusive deals = my theory)
Redoing previous Chella figures with updated Epic molds would be great for the right names đź‘€

I’m in the US and my Bulldog figures arrived today. IMO, these are leaps and bounds better than the Powers of Pain, and the Powers of Pain were exceptional! I think the Bulldogs are a little more realistic looking than the PoP, but I’m still ok with it.
I think that if this is an example of what is to come from Epic, the future is looking very bright.

Hard to tell from pics but the Bulldogs have slightly different skin tones which is a nice touch

Asylum has been real iffy, I’m done with them. My dealings with them have exceeded expectations every time. Shipping is quality and quick. I often end up receiving free gifts. I got a few free cards; one was a signed Blue Meanie BCA card. Another time I ordered a Powers of Pain set loose and instead received a Powers of Pain on a damaged card. If you watch there Ebay store you can get some crazy deals too. They had a 4 pack of Effy and a few others a while back for $70. I missed out on it, hoping for another. I do wish they posted more loose figures on their site rather than Ebay though. I'm still holding out for Headbangers loose or on a damaged card. |

Yesterday was such a long day but it was a nice one to listen to 3POA. I hope I heard correctly that DDP is scheduled to go up for preorder at the end of February?

This was the timeline before the Sabu sitch though, I’ll check if we are still aiming for this timeframe for DDP |

HARD AGREE on this! The photo with Bret looks great snd first thing I thought seeing the dynamite was how awesome the pose is for a suplex and he along with Bret probably had the best snap suplex going. It’s a very mr perfect hasbro esq pose imo If I was bring very critical the skin tone is a bit off but that could be lighting? But otherwise great figures! Pretty sure it is the lighting. I’m staring at my Sting Retro for reference and his skin is closer to peach. That isn’t how it appears in his photos. The real figure is less “warm” than Hasbros like Razor or Demolition but not as pale as it was shown in that previous post. Also, side by side here shows that lighting or camera settings are different between shots:  I’m going to do a poor job explaining this but I notice tbs same thing here as my Bulldogs. On both figures on the left side, the lower abdomen isn’t cut straight so there’s an area where there’s no skin and an awkward black space between the abdomen and waist. Figures are great otherwise |

Tbh, I've apparently kept mine carded, which I never used to do, but I've not had any desire to open any of my recent wrestling figures that came on cards 🤷 |

Just saw the unveiling of Bobby Heenan and Boris Zhukov. Fun stuff! www.facebook.com/share/v/eBMdrWpqXJR52PrP/?Oddly enough, I had a dream about the live unveiling and it was as bad as it was good. The good in the dream involved a ring/entryway/lighting rig that made for a great display. The bad was their “big” reveal of 7inch Uncensored figures of the Orient Express…in soft goods. Looking forward to seeing closer details on the actual display they set up so we can get a better look at DDP, Boris, and Bobby. |

The detail on Bobby is closer to Zombie levels… http://instagram.com/p/C4Asi1gsQWj Seriously though. The textured sequin jacket, the watch, the ring the bend in the pant leg, the different colored bow tie, and unquestionably the best head sculpt we have ever had for a Heenan figure. Onita looks great and blends in perfectly with the Hasbro style. DDP looks amazing as we know. Sounds like Jamie said preorder up next week? Boris is very cool looking. I don’t think we have ever had a heavyset or thicker person with the Macho punch style arm…and it works well. Hat appears removable but I’m not certain. |
