What new Demolition figures are you talking about? For the 1993 Davey Boy, this was a figure they showed a while back. I haven't seen any updates on it though.  That Bulldog is being changed completely and the new sculptor will be used Expected. Please, let’s pretend this proto never existed. The internet needs to learn to forget. |

It was actively frustrating to listen to. He just might be the straw that breaks the camel’s back and makes me cancel my MWFP Patreon membership. If DFreedom30 was going off on these rants on social media where people can have an actual dialogue it would be one thing. But Matt and Brian are complicit and culpable for giving him the platform and opportunity to do this. That doesn’t deserve to be rewarded. Not to turn this into a bash fest but I agree. I hadn’t listen to their podcast in well over a year, no specific reason, just hadn’t - but I’ve watched the last few on YouTube and have enjoyed them EXCEPT for him. |

First time posting on this thread. Wanted to say hi to everyone as I have just made my first purchase from this line - the two Giant Haystacks figures.
Years ago after I came out of university I was struggling financially and ended up selling most of my collection. A heart breaking decision but needs much. Have thought about collecting again for ages and this line has caught my attention, so made the decision to start collecting these, hasbro’s and galoobs again.

Welcome, and what an opportunity you have to start a greeat collection - I'd suggest picking up a Big Daddy figure, to complement the Haystacks, but I'd also recommend if you want a "Chella" figure, Hayabusa is a good buy - some of the others are hit and miss, but there is definitely a good selection available of the Epic figures, that's where the quality and look/feel of a proper throwback styled figure is with this series, the earlier Chella figs are ok for what they are, but the later figures are much better

I’m interested to see if they re-sculpted it using their new sculptor. last I/we heard from the podcast was that Eddie was being re-done and wasn't finished in time for FTLOW, which is a shame as would have been great to see the lineup filled out with some more figs
hopefully, and maybe Jamie/Dan can chime in here, but hopefully if Epic have sorted out the packaging for DDP's figure (due to go up for order soon!) then maybe Epic will be in a position to share some more details about the other figures coming in Series 3?

I need 2 but im so sick of preorders I’m with you, pre-orders are so 2022 If it helps, the last few pre-orders from Epic have been Demolition, Pop (both had Pre-orders close at the end of September and were in hand Mid-December - 6 weeks) and Bulldogs (Pre-order closed the start of December and they were in hand end of January - 7 weeks) DDP should be a similar time frame to this as it is already in production. The delay to the pre-order has been perfecting the packaging for this. Also worth noting, Epic do not have any retro pre-orders outstanding. Only company that can say this (Mattel only have a ring outstanding in fairness to them) |
