Papa Shango would be cool. He owns it apparently. Makes sense with the chain hat cape and stick Eh, I guess that makes some sense. Though for me, I'd have no need for it. I think the Hasbro was pretty spot-on, and he was such a brief character, I wouldn't need to have a 2nd version of it. Makes more than some sense. The entire graphic is skulls

Epic said on 3POA a little while ago that a previous Chella figure would get the Deluxe treatment (the very next one maybe?) - if that's still on then I'd guess Bull Nakano would be the most obvious one from the original run, perhaps Nick Aldis if he's not under a WWE merchandise deal. Otherwise I'd think the Road Warriors would be perfect for that sort of release, but it sounds like they'll go into the standard line rather than the deluxe. I'm a little surprised they're not getting another out sooner than 2025 - if DDP is going to be in hands within the next couple of months then I'd think that would be an ideal time to generate excitement for the next one, but if it's going to be another 6 months at least then we risk getting into that familiar position of the excitement dying down. The Deluxe line will be less often than the normal releases and saved for talent that need and deserve all the bells and whistles that a standard retro budget couldn’t contain Since everyone is doing one except for Mattel, I can see Macho Man/King Randy Savage in his white/purple attire being a proper candidate. Add two arms + jacket and mybe a removable hat and crown + cepter. That would be a dream figure. Btw: the Matchbox Optimus prime features a clever packaging that allows collectors to display Optimus either in car mode or robot mode. Maybe something Epic should look into. Two different display options would habe been nice for DDP too, but would definitely be a fantastic upgrade for later characters.

Faces of fear makes sense, but its my least desired meng by a mile. Id take bodyguard meng even. In 95 or 96 he had a great multicolored green and red thing he wore from head to toe that looked cool. That or late 90s meng would be fine. Although they did wear red or blue on occasion, black would be the more accurate i guess you could say

Anyone know if the Summerslam 92 LOD are still happening? That was one particular thing Chella had announced that I was really looking forward to.

It sounded like it might end up being in their Deluxe line which might make it easier from a packaging standpoint. That way you can display them without the pads. Not sure what else they would include with them in the side window unless they did the wrist gauntlets as well. Getting the bikes would be next to impossible/not worth discussing.

I would love the wrist gauntlets, I hope they can pull it off so the gold on the gear is as reflective as it looked on the show. Honestly would just prefer it all molded myself, as I don't think I'd ever display w/out it anyway, but I get why some want the option.

I was hoping Epic would be able to make the LOD set a priority when they finally cleared the backlog from the old company, but I get it that they had a lot of talent to address and to do LOD properly needs time and proper resources.
But with the Road Warriors being open to other companies to do and given how iconic the SummerSlam '92 look is (plus it having been done in the UK which makes it an obvious tie-in for a UK company) then I still think Epic should try to get them ready sooner rather than later, before someone else does that look.

Perhaps removable arms (like DDP) with molded gauntlets would be a solution. The reflective gold…yeah, I don’t know. Is there any gold toy products that don’t turn green over time? I mean I suppose they could always market it as a tribe to Kensuke Sasaki

That would be great if by the time ZST released those great looking Road Warriors, Epic Toys got the SS '92 LoD out. I know people on here don't like repaints but after the gold they could get some red LoD and some blue WCW era Road Warriors too. I would easily buy all 4 looks.

I mean I suppose they could always market it as a tribe to Kensuke Sasaki I think the best way to achieve it would be to use stickers rather than paint…a little like the most recent Mattel Bret Hart ultimate MNW glasses. The reflective material would work way better than any paint. Hope it’s a consideration.

I personally love repaints, especially if the wrestler had a lot of different coloured attires etc. I'm sort of hoping Epic take their time with things as I've spent way too much lately on stuff and haven't even managed to snag Onita yet, so I'm hoping I can still pick him up nearer payday.

I got a set of custom repaints of the Hasbros in the blue a few years ago that I'm pretty content with, but if Epic's looked pretty good, I'd definatly upgrade. No interest in AWA though, wasn't something I was watching.
