That face lost alot if detail. Shame as it looked fantastic. I think the detail is mostly there but the color between the painted studio photos and the most recent photo look very different. Lighting obviously plays a part but I am hoping it is slightly darker in person. Great side by side. Thanks! You can clearly see that there is a deformation from proto to production. The production piece is way more stretched. I know that you always lose a little detail in the process, but that deformation shouldn’t happen. It’s a great proto but the production piece is not doing it justice - at least in these pics.

Just received the Powers of Pain. (Purchased from FC). Up there with ZST Brody and Kevin Sullivan as my favorite Hasbro style figures. I know I’m late, but I missed out on the initial preorders for them, just now able to get them in hand
Love them!

Happy that they re-released them too for people like you who missed out on that first run.

soon, they always said around September, so it will be soon
Epic's IG have had a Q&A this weekend, and one of their responses is regarding timelines, they've explained that because this is their first "real" from start to finish, they now understand much more about the process so hopefully going forward from this point on, their timelines will be much clearer from start to finish

Notes of interest from the Q&A: -No news to give on Loobs. -A new Hayabusa seems to be planned. “The best is yet to come.” -No plans on making British Bulldog anytime soon. -New figure announcements will be made by the end of the month. -Series 3 needed more tweaks which caused unexpected delays. -One tweak was the color of Bobby Heenan’s jacket. -Killer Bees should be in stock in a couple months with no pre-order. A sneak peek at a series 4 figure was given. It appears to be Barry Windham:

Would love a Windham. Epic, BRG, mattel elite. Bring them all!

Looking forward to Windham as well.

Looking forward to Windham as well. The Chella version of Hayabusa is surprisingly good. The more cartoony look fits with his style and Hayabusa may be one of the very few characters that work having the jumper pose. I hope Epic goes all out on their new Hayabusa though, but either way it will be an instant purchase for me.

I absolutely love the Chella Hayabusa, it's honestly one of my favourite wrestling figures. They really nailed that, and it definitely fits right into the Hasbro style, imo. Funnily enough, I dunno if I posted it at some point, but I remember guessing if Hayabusa was gonna get the "deluxe treatment" at some point, considering we were told it was gonna be a new version of a figure already made. I'm hoping that's the case, although I'm not sure I'd want interchangeable heads or hands. I'd honestly take another repainted Hayabusa in the exact same mold, but a totally new version would also be fantastic.

Here’s who comes to mind for that style of glove Barry Windham Blackjack(s) Mulligan and Lanza Manny Fernandez Ted DiBiase Yea hopefully BW

I haven’t seen too many other good theories.
-Jim Neidhart -Warhorse -Adrian Adonis (biker version) -Tank Abott -Grandmaster Sexay -Kanyon
Most weren’t well known for white tape and gloves at the same time.

Interesting note about Bulldog, they were supposed to be doing the 93 WCW one right?
Hmm...if they're not making it, wonder if Mitch will pick that one up too? That was a version I was really looking forward to.

I just hope they go with his WCW look/the cancelled Chella look. I’m not sure what poses Luke is looking to do (hopefully staying close to the originals). Bulldog would look incredible doing the Sting entrance gear double biceps pose, Barry Windham’s powerslam pose, or even the Luger figure as if looks very similar to the Chella WM drawing.

Something like the Windham so he can do the powerslam, all day long!
