He may have a point. He may not. As he’s proven many times though, he’s kind of a douche. So it might be competition or it might just be him being a dick.
So far, Chella looks closer to the Hasbro style that both are trying to mimic.

I really like Chella's and Zombie's figures.
Just want to clarify on the earlier post about the figures being printed in China. Do you mean they are 3D printed and there are no molds? Wonder how much that actually costs. Thanks for the info as that is fascinating if it's that simple.

I can get into detail a little bit more later when I have time, but Chella does use molds for the very final product. It's all the steps in between the design phase and the final product that differ greatly.

The fact that zombie has artists sculpting by hand and chella uses digital sculpts doesn’t really have any impact on one looking more like an original hasbro. I think it’ll come down to each individual figures sculpt. We haven’t even seen what zombie’s figures will look like whence mass produced. Paint will make a big difference.

If your in front you don’t need to mention your competition When your behind you do That’s the way it’s been forever: 1. Nintendo didn’t reference sega - sega did the ‘sega does what nintendont’ adverts 2. Pepsi have taken shots at Coca Cola in adverts 3. Vince never mentioned wcw until Ted started throwing cash around and he did the ‘billionaire Ted’ segments Take from that what you will One product is in people’s hands. The other is all talk and status symbols: original hasbro artist, best factory making toys for top companies…but no end product Let’s see how well this comment ages

Zombie should focus more than the production of actual figs and less on hype videos announcing signees.
Show don’t tell my man…

I guess that’s one potential issue in releasing a whole series of 5 together at one time - if there was an issue then it could potentially affect the whole series. Whereas Chella are releasing one at a time, which might give the time in between each release to iron out any kinks/issues before the next release 🤷🏻♂️ And in no way meaning to derail this thread, but anyone else feel like one of the other retro figure providers keeps seeming to take shots at Chella (or someone else) for some reason? “So glad we chose a dedicated factory with over four decades of experience that specializes in creating collectibles for many of the top toy manufacturers throughout the world and not some cheap on demand print service” Maybe I’m just reading too much into it and more than was intended; but it’s the 2nd or 3rd time that he’s come across as throwing shade…. He 100% is. And he's not necessarily wrong with what he's saying. I'm sure the way he says it will rub people with thin-skin the wrong way, but whatever. I've actually been in contact (by complete happenstance for a non-wrestling related project through work) with the people in Asia who produce Chella's figures. They actually showed me Aldis as one of their samples of work without me knowing they produced Chella's figures. I learned quite a bit about their process. Literally anybody with a drawing and money can produce what they want with this company. The company Chella uses is in fact a direct to print model as Zombie mentioned (which explains why that indie dude nobody heard about was able to get a low run figure through Chella). Chella doesn't provide them with anything except the "blueprints" they post on their socials. The company in Asia then creates the 3D model for Chella. They really don't do physical prototypes which would explain why some things get lost in translation from the sketch to final model (looking at that squashed Bull Nakano face. Though to be fair, the height of her hair may have exceeded the limit of how tall the head could be and created a "squashed" effect, but I really don't know for sure as that's speculation on my part). It's a much cheaper and quicker way to produce figures than the way Zombie is doing it, but you do lose a little bit of control with what you're doing - which is ultimately why I couldn't convince the client to use this company. As someone who has wanted to get some figures made for a project in the past, it's fascinating hearing about the process and how it's done. I just assume they require a lot of money to get smaller runs made up, so it's probably not worth it (but maybe I'm wrong?)

That makes sense about bull. I said that initially that it was super off and how the hair was shorter but a few folks tried to say otherwise. Its too bad how it turned out but all things considered its still solid

Got my Hayabusa in this morning, excellent figure. Very happy with getting this one a few days before it sold out too! In other news, JB Toys announced on Twitter that the Wembley Variant Giant Haystacks sold out from their stock amount so that's pretty cool! A lot of people very excited about this one which is good for Chella!

JB is a chooch. He brags about being friends with the boys but is only buying their gear.
Sells third world made belts. What would Broski say? Kubiki-ish?

Genuine question: How can Hayabusa sell out if they can print on demand? I guess they'd decide not to do another production run -- or do a variant?

Genuine question: How can Hayabusa sell out if they can print on demand? I guess they'd decide not to do another production run -- or do a variant? Well they’re not gonna print each order on demand….they’d make an initial production run (for example 1000 units), with however many they’ve decided going to their US distributer/s. Then when they sell out, they are sold out. Not likely to get another full production as it’s a lot of money down on product that might not sell.

Ordered the Mind of the Meanie set on eBay and the single Josh Shernoff from his website. Just the Nick Aldis variants and I'm caught up with everything else on pre order. Will have to go the eBay route for Ethan Page but that's ok.

Managed to snag the Wrestling Trader 1 of 100 Nick Aldis of off eBay. 1 down, 3 to go.

I keep checking back on this thread for more news on releases like a crackhead pining for a fix 🤦🏻♂️😂 I'm with you on that! I don't bother clicking notifications for pages on Twitter, but for the Chella account I made an exception. I'm all about this line right now. I was itchy to get into a new line and the AEW line doesn't do it for me as there's far to many to keep up. I wanted to start the Hasbro line, but just too pricey to collect MOC, but I love that style of figure. Chella is a line I'm gonna get everything they do, support the small company and the fact they're a British company is cool. I like Zombies figures, but at nearly £70 for one shipped here, no thanks. The names Chella have signed have me excited too.

If you're in the US and still need Bull Nakano, Asylum Wrestling Store has 'em in stock and still have some available (not sure if linking is allowed).
I got Hayabusa from there with no problems.
