7 days till Big Daddy pre order! Can't wait for this one, same as the Giant Haystacks. I'm really looking forward to being able to display them side by side! Hopefully this week we'll get a time for the pre-order going live next week from Chella. |

Normally I dont like bloody figures, looks gimmicky and a bit rubbish but that’s pretty well done, understated snd not too ott like when they have big splotches everywhere |

[I can’t remember the exact line but there’s one of wrestling legends which have bloody variants and they’re awful I collected, and still do, Jakks figures before getting invested in Chella and they've only done a couple bloody figures. One I own being the 1/100 Terry Funk, and I think it's well done. I remember a line from a company, not sure which, that had bloody variants and it wasn't well done in my opinion. I'd love to see more like these from Chella, but we'll wait and see. This one has already become my favourite I own. |

They’ve also said that Dynamite Kid is coming late-November/early-December! I’m excited for Dynamite Kid, I really hope it’s as good as it looks. Can’t wait to see MOC pictures over the coming weeks! |

I was gonna post that for you loose collectors, Chella had Damaged Packaging Bull and Hayabusa in stock. Just checked, both out of stock. Should have posted it yesterday. The fact these are selling out so fast is really encouraging, means the line is doing well and that's a great thing as people get introduced to it. I'm seeing a lot of Chella posts on Twitter now of people getting the figures. I'm really happy that this company is doing so well!

The fact these are selling out so fast is really encouraging, means the line is doing well and that's a great thing as people get introduced to it. I wish some company would make a Bob Backlund, and then the WM IX roster would be complete. He’s a really big “want” of mine, going all the way back to the end of the Hasbros. He was maybe fourth on my list behind Diesel, King of Harts Owen and Jerry Lawler when the line ended, maybe even edging-out Jerry. Mr Backlund heel was even ahead of USA face Luger for me. I’m hoping that Mattel still have the rights to him so that we’ll see him in the Retros relaunch pretty early on. When I was feeling inspired/bored shortly after the SDCC announcement and wasting time drawing-up fantasy four packs for Mattel Creations, I had him in my second set overall (behind an Orange card set that I thought would’ve been a great set to launch the line on Mattel Creations), which would’ve been the first of several New Generation themed sets: -Mr Backlund -Jerry Lawler (with crown accessory) -British Bulldog (‘95 shorts, unbraided long hair) -Kama (like the recent Elite) But to hit the WrestleMania IX roster I’d guess you’d want him first released as white-meat babyface Bob in red trunks? Rather than his heel run - I can’t see us getting both versions from Mattel if they do/can make Bob Backland, but I’d definitely buy both. If Backlund is no longer under contract with WWE, then he must be very high-up with the independent lines given his role in the New Generation. |
