Aldis’ head is enormous. Dynamite kid’s is too small… the consistency is leaving something to be desired. But when they’re good, they’re good. Hayabusa is my favorite so far. Agreed, Nick Aldis head is the worst one so far. They get a pass as it was the first one released, but it ain’t very good.

Has it been said as to when the blue Haystacks figure is up for pre order? I'm sure I have read somewhere its December 14 - but I can't find it now! All Chella have said so far is "December", but I honestly think it'll be next week. Dynamite Kid will ship then they'll put the pre order up for Haystacks, that's my theory. I think it'll be next Friday or Sunday but we shall see. I just want them to give a date for pre ordering, bugger all their other lines and such announcements!

Kept asking them everytime they posted about this new bone crunching line, as they have just announced another new name in it. December for blue haystacks has now changed to January 5th. I wondered when they were going to out right announce that if I had not kept asking them!

Got an email from Chella. All their Dynamite Kid pre-orders have been shipped, so fingers crossed guys it's here before Christmas.
Also in the email it confirmed the 5th of January for Blue Giant Haystacks.

I received Dynamite today as well as Jay White last week from RSC. Overall, this is a good effort from Chella on Dynamite. As you can see, he's a smidge taller than Davey. Not as bad as Chella's other recent offerings. The cape is really nice. The body sculpt is a little off though. I think the wide stance of the legs is throwing the proportions off. The shoulders could probably also be a little wider too. I like the head sculpt and head size. It fits really well with the Hasbros. Jay White is just too big. Overall, the figure is really nice if you can look past the scaling issue. Chella really needs to work on their scale consistency. He's slightly taller than Hayabusa, which I believe makes him Chella's tallest figure thus far. The biggest issues with scale are obviously the head, but also the feet which I'm going to attempt to correct in the upcoming weeks. If you measure from the sole of the boot to the top of the foot, it's almost twice the size of Dynamite. And it's about 3 times the size of the Hasbro Davey and Chella Hayabusa. I'm probably going to slice off a good 1/8" to 1/4" off the bottom of Jay's boots to lower the height and I might even chop a bit off his head and re-sculpt the hair.

Glad to see they are listening and correcting the scale. Just a tad smaller, and they will be there!

Anyone else find it funny people complain about scaling/proportions when Hasbro style looks nothing like a human being to begin with?

I'm not talking about scaling in terms of the way Mattel tries to scale figures to actual real world heights. We're talking about the figures being relatively all the same height, which most Hasbro's were. Jay White's Chella is almost as tall as Andre and Giant Gonzalez. He towers over every Hasbro and Retro sans the ones I mentioned and Diesel and Braun on the Retro side.

The size issue if frustrating but Ive kept all mine moc so I won't notice it as much. Got my 3 Joey Knight figures coming soon, I have all my pre orders in and got everything except for 2 of aldis varients, shernoff fight exclusive and I need an Ethan page. Loving the chella line so far

Billed heights: 6ft 3, 6ft 4, 6ft 6. So not only are they not the same size, the biggest figure is actually the smallest person and the tallest person is the smallest figure. Even iterations of the same figure is different - The top of pink Brutus’ head is level with zebra brutus’ eyes The top of rudes head is level with perfects eyes Kamala is smaller than the bushwackers The top of sids head is level with hogans headband styled bandana You are correct with Gonzales being much taller - but hasbros we’re all over the place. But that’s to be expected when they were a mix match as per rons sketches we have see where he says use so and so’s legs and a different persons body and they’re just pieces together

Well yeah, they're not Hasbro ... so they don't have to be scaled the same ... just look the same. Same with Zombie. His won't be the same height either. Nor should anyone care. They're toys that sit on a shelf. Having them not scaled the same as a Hasbro only hurts ones own personal OCD.

These are sold as figures to fit into Hasbro collections hence the packaging mimicking the originals and some of the figures mimicking the originals' poses. I spent $35-40 on each figure. To say I shouldn't care, when posting on the nerdiest of the nerds message board, about something I spent money on is odd.

They're marketed as "retros" not "just like Hasbros".
