[RETRO] Wrestling Megastars by Epic Toys

I raised my concerns about the whole situation directly to Chella and showed documented proof of his unprofessionalism in the past. No response after many messages exchanged previously. They don't seem to care they're in business with a known con-artist.

Chella is a two-man operation (well.... husband and wife combo) who haven't done this before, and clearly haven't got much experience of social media/marketing

I get that it's a small enterprise starting out, which I respect, but they clearly need a business plan that is much better than their current "Spray and pray" approach - they've announced they've got the Dynamite Kid as their next release, and that looks like it will be awesome, especially as the initial designs look like the Hasbro Bulldog, so the two should work alongside each othetr pretty well.

but why not take pre-orders as soon as you announce the figure? if you've already got preliminary artwork, and you set up pre-orders immediately, then you'll be able to gauge sales and have a clear plan of how many figures are in demand, meaning you could start with a 300 production volume, receive 300 figure pre-orders within a week and then up the volume to 500 to capture more demand

but they've announced the Dynamite Kid figure, yet haven't announced a pre-order/availability date so they're clearly missing some opportunities right there. they'd never make it through week 3 of The Apprentice!

Ordering straight from Chella will result in custom duties. I was lucky when receiving my Nick Aldis that they were still part of the EU, sadly I won't be so lucky from now on and will have to pay custom duties...

They have USA distribution, so that you can buy directly from someone in the US (JB Toys). The couple who started Chella are based in the U.K.

Could not agree more! I could buy 2 additional figures in my order everytime I order from Ringside with what I pay for shipping and also the custom charge I am hit with when the item actually arrives. But that’s collecting. If you want the product sometimes you have to go that extra mile as the above has detailed.

Looks like Chella will be announcing another figure soon! Pretty excited! Man, this is an awesome time to be a fan of Hasbro styled wrestling figures!

All I can think of is either Hayabusa (Phoenix splash) or maybe Alex Riley? LoL. But, I’m drawing a blank.
