According to The Dirty Sheets, Sting has signed a new Legends deal. It’ll be interesting to see if at Comic Con they bring back his scheduled Series 7 figure.

Maybe they can make this a ringside exclusive or a launch figure for the Mattel creations site? Might be the quickest way to get it. Just hoping we get it this time.

Collectors edition makes more sense now to repack him since e 80 has no rumors till now I think.

No. I don’t want any exclusive, there should be no reason why we should pay more than $19.99 for this figure. If he did sign a deal, I’m hoping they could take more time and retool the boots and make them taller. Give him a bat that doesn’t have wood grain texture and give him the elite hawk arms like the original DM Sting had. Other than that, if it is true, I’m excited. I love Sting.

Thinking about it and what Steve said, the figure never even made it into production so I doubt we have shaved off much for the turn around time to get the figure. We saw first samples but that’s about it really. I’d imagine it’ll be at least 7-8 months at the earliest before we see it produced, if it is true he resigned.
