I just noticed the boots don't have the UE toe articulation. Not that it's a deal-breaker, or anything. Just an observation. XD

Absolutely love and will purchase 110%
That being said, while the Brahma Bull title was a pipe dream and of course I would have loved to have it, it was doubtful that it would ever get made. It never made it to TV. The bummer to me is it seems that the "Lay the Smackdown" logo is not on the back of the elbow pads. Thats something small that would have put this figure over the top to me. But the People's eyebrow scan, shirt, red outline trunks, and just bring it hand still make this figure an absolute win.

If you're looking for extra articulation, there's far more useful places to put it. I'd rather have extra neck or shoulder articulation than toe.

I’ve picked up a few figures from the ultimate line and while I like the concept, actually having the figures in hand there’s nothing really ultimate about it. Besides the double jointed arms, the articulation is pretty bad and you can say the toes count but that’s worthless articulation. The diaphragm joint is worse and allows for even lose movement. I just can’t see myself constantly spending $30 on these unless they really go back to the drawing board and make and fix the ab articulation. From what I’ve seen the AEW figures allow for wayyyy more movement and better articulation and it’s $10 cheaper, no reason why mattel can’t make improvements.
As for this Rock figure, how is it ultimate? It comes with a T-shirt and a belt and we’ve gotten that plenty of times with other Rock elites. They could atleast given him some pants and those nice shirts he wore back in the day.

No thanks. Nothing about this makes it an Ultimate. As others have said looks like a typical Elite. The extra hands and heads when there is only 1 body is just not my cup of tea. Why couldn't they at least have a different attire? It's really not that hard to come up with amazing Ultimates & Elite 2-packs for that matter & they keep dropping the ball hard IMO.

its a fine figure, but im just not collecting the ultimate line....of course im going to get Hogan, but if they ever release a mainline Elite/Legends nWo Hogan I'll sell the ultimate
if they ever made CM Punk or SCSA Ultimate those would be the only ones I would buy/keep. Punk I'd get 2, one loose & one MOC

OK people if these are the ultimate presentation of a superstar why people are switching torso of these with normal elites? There should be some problem?

OK people if these are the ultimate presentation of a superstar why people are switching torso of these with normal elites? There should be some problem? Because some people prefer that torso to this one, and personal definitions of "ultimate" or "definitive" are going to vary from person to person.

I’m not going to lie, it’s a good figure. However, it just doesn’t seem like something for me to go out of my way for. I think the torso on this one seems like an improvement. The main issue as to why they look horrendous is because of the mid section of the torso. I’m not sure why Mattel can’t take a notice from Storm Collectibles. I kind of agree with this one not being worth the money, for an ultimate edition this figure SHOULD at least have glossy boots. It’s a regular rock figure with a bit of accessories. Things like these will slowly start killing the line IMO. First it was Nakamura, then Cena..I get that big names sell, but we already got these guys as DMs. Give us a 2001 Kane as a DM with a new mask sculpt, two interchangeable masks (one red and another black), multiple hands, new torso with sculpted mesh, laceless boots and some hardcore accessories or belts. Give us an Undertaker, things that would make it worth the price.

OK people if these are the ultimate presentation of a superstar why people are switching torso of these with normal elites? There should be some problem? Because wrestling figure collectors have to be dragged kicking and screaming towards any sort of significant change because they think everything has to stay the same forever? Seriously.it always happens R3 unveiled: "They're not the same size as my TTLs, I don't want them" RA unveiled: "Oh great another new line and they're not even the same size as the TTLs, I don't want them." DA unveiled: "Too much articulation, they won't fit in with my RAs, I don't want them" Mattel line initially unveiled: "They're too small and cartoony compared to Jakks, I don't want them" And don't even get me ing started on how this community had the following trajectory with the AEW figures: "They won't be in scale with Mattels" "Oh they're in scale with Mattels, well they'll be more expensive than Elites" "Oh they're the same price as elites, well the articulation is weird" "Oh they have basically Ultimate Edition articulation at the Elite price point? Well Jeremy's still gonna us" "Oh see they screwed up the skin tones I told you they'd look terrible" "Oh wait it was the lighting and they actually don't look bad? Well then we'll say the head scans look bad" "Oh wait the scans dont look bad? Well the rubber torso will dry out!" "Oh you mean that doesn't really happen with other figures with similar applications? Tune in next week to find out what stupid thing we need to nitpick because these aren't like the things we said we didn't want a decade ago but we now accept because we were forced to accept change" Seriously this community and the fact the toy companies actually listen to it is probably the reason it took until 2020 with the AEW figures to get wrestling figures that actually approximate what ing modern $20 action figures are.

I'd get one for the shirt if I saw it on sale. Otherwise I'm perfectly happy with my E69 Rock with the B100 head.

This is a 20 $ figure torso now how will u justify a 40$ crap. I wasn't TRYING to justify the UE figures being $40. You asked why people were swapping elite torsos onto these and I explained that wrestling figure fans are giant ing babies who hate change. The UE figures SHOULD be the $20 line but you know as well as I do that if they replaced the Elites with the UE figures, people would cry about it and Mattel realize this so they're gonna charge people an extra $10 for figures that should just be the standard line because wrestling fans are fine with paying $20 for the Elite figures that lag a decade behind everything else at the same price point. If you actually read my post, I mentioned that the AEW figures, which are $20, are the closest thing to modern action figures we've gotten for pro wrestling figures. I'm trying to tell you I WANT that style of figure at $20 but this community in particular has a horrible, unfathomable habit of railing so hard against any sort of change no matter how superior it is to what they currently have. I've never understood it.

Yeah, between the fact the AEW figures are light years better and modern WWE is so bad calling it dog poop is an insult to dog poop, most of my collecting attention is gonna be shifting to the AEW figures and trying to track down the rest of the ToyBiz TNA line

In terms of articulation, a lot of those figures were way ahead of their time and fit in with modern figures. I miss Toybiz.

So they start getting cheap with elite accessories giving us extra hands and then release a more expensive version with everything elites should be already coming with and say look at all the extra stuff you get. I look at some of my older figures from 10 years ago like the Palisades Resident Evil figures and they were packed with tons of stuff for less than what we pay now.

Value-wise, I wish they threw in the The Great One tanktop from Jericho's debut. RAW is WAR mic & Lay the Smack Down! elbow pads would've been nice touches. The yelling expression is surprisingly great! Kudos to that sculptor. Looks just like The Rock when he's slapping on that sloppy Sharpshooter, lol.
