After being welcomed to the show by Don Callis & Josh Matthews, the action kicked off. Motor City Machine Guns def. The Rascalz Match Rating: ***This was MCMG's return to Impact. Rascalz put up an impressive fight but were unable to get the win. MCMG put them away with Made In Detroit. Ace Austin def. Rich Swann Match Rating: ***This was Swann's return to Impact from injury. Ace worked the leg of Swann, but Swann stayed in but was finally hit with The Fold. Swann offered a handshake to Ace but Ace spat in his face and left. Street Fight Moose def. Tommy Dreamer Match Rating: **1/2Dreamer brought his best but Moose was able to withstand everything, spearing Dreamer through a table wrapped in barbwire for the winImpact Knockouts Championship Deonna Purrazzo def. Jordynne Grace Match Rating: ***1/2In the shocker of the night, Deonna became the new champion via submissionImpact World Tag Team Championships The North def. Ken Shamrock & Sami Callihan Match Rating: ***Shamrock & Callihan started of well but couldn't get along, which led to their downfall. The North celebrated after the big win until The Good Brothers arrived. Anderson said they better kiss those titles goodbye and leave Impact X-Division Championship Ultimate X Chris Bey def. Willie Mack & TJP Match Rating: ****A great match with lots of high spots and big moments. Bey was able to incapacitate Mack & TJP long enough to climb the cables and bring the title down.Impact World Championship Fatal Fourway EC3 def. Eric Young, Rob Van Dam, & Eddie Edwards Match Rating: ****A huge main event with the surprise returns of EC3 & Eric Young. There were lots of nearfalls, but the end came when Van Dam hit a huge dive onto Young & Edwards. RVD then went for the 5 Star on EC3 but caught nothing but knees from EC3. EC3 would then nail the TK3 to win the match and the vacant championship.Slammiversary ends with EC3 celebrating with the title held high
I'll do more detailed results as I go from here. I just wanted to get this posted asap lol

TNA, oh TNA. It has been a while since I last saw a proper diary of Impact Wrestling on the board, and we’re looking back years. I think Jord had a great one, but that had to be based on 2012 for context. I think Impact is at a cross-roads following the success of Slammiversary. We’re seeing the deck shuffled, as more talent become available from non-compete clauses as well as inactivity due to the fallout of COVID-19’s induced sabbatical. So we have a great base, but I’m hoping we see how things go from here on out. You’re looking out at unchartered water with starting a modern diary, and I’m intrigued but wary of how things fare. It looks as though you’re producing this on a real sim which is awfully refreshing without a doubt. I’m curious how we see the story going with EC3 back on top as the Impact World Champion, with his new persona. We’re also dealing with the fallout of Joey Ryan and Dave Crist’s shameful departures, as well as the uncertain standing of Tessa Blanchard. Perhaps one day, we’ll see Tessa come back? That’s for you to decide. The roster right now is really a strange shuffle of guys, it reminds me of when EWR’s AI would book WWE to let go of their roster and you wind up with a jigsaw puzzle of dudes from various promotions clustered together. I’m intrigued, and hope we see more.

Slammiversary was the first TNA show I've watched in years. I felt that you booked it far better than the actual thing. That said the Ultimate X seems a bit rushed but happy that Bey is champion. The two four star matches might be a bit too much but overall am very interested to see what you do with this. I'm a big X Division fan so hopefully you can do something with that, even if you bring in some guys from the indy scene.

not too different from the actual card, but i like that you're mixing it up with your own stuff from the get-go. austin and swann would be a fun singles match, so i'm not miffed at that change. though personally, i would have held off on the ultimate x match until a later date cos it does come a bit from out of nowhere. giving it some build/anticipation would've been better, especially since it just got very limited results here and those kind've matches usually have a lot of innovative stuff. big time feel for the main event for sure having all four men being former world champions. the right call was made here tho imo. if you're having ec3 come back as sudden as this, have him take back the crown asap.
good stuff so far, brother. i'd personally get rid of the stars unless you give the matches full write-ups to have the audience feel it a bit more. star ratings with minimal results make it hard for me to truly believe. can't wait to see what you've got in store from here tho. i know you're actually using a sim, but i know you're creative enough to give us some intriguing stories too. use what you feel comfortable with from the sim, but don't restrict your stories by just using that.

Don Callis & Josh Matthews are on commentary, with Madison Rayne being moved to handle backstage duties & interviews
After the opening video, Tommy Dreamer is in the ring in a suit holding a microphone. Dreamer talks about how Slammiversary was a shot in the arm for Impact Wrestling. He says some new, and some old faces reappeared and he's sure they will all do great things. Dreamer then changes the subject, he says he went to war with Moose and came up short, and he's done some reflecting over the last 24 hours and at this time....he is cut off by Moose's music. Moose comes out on stage and says Tommy should get to business and announce he's retiring and get it over with. Tommy says he's glad Moose came out here, because his announcement actually effects Moose because as of this moment Tommy Dreamer is retired from in ring competition, however he has been appointed by Scott D'Amore as the new Commissioner of Impact Wrestling. Moose says this isn't fair, and Tommy assures him that he will be fair. Tommy then announces Moose will have an opportunity to face the new world champion, EC3 at No Surrender in 4 weeks...if he can win a fatal four-way match tonight against Eddie Edwards, Rob Van Dam, & Eric Young.Match 1 Triple ThreatPetey Williams def. Crazzy Steve & TJPA fast past x-division match up. Petey looked to be in great shape, picking up the win with the Canadian Destroyer on Steve. After the big win, Madison Rayne enters the ring and congratulates Petey on the win. She asks him if he's looking to make a run at becoming X-Division Champion again? But before he could answer Ace Austin's music cuts him off. Austin comes out to the ring with Madman Fulton behind him. Ace tells Petey he should step aside much like Dreamer did and think about an easier career choice. Petey says he doesn't intend on hanging up the boots yet, and he certainly won't let some chump like Ace force him out. Ace smirks and then turns his back to Petey as Madman boots Petey in the face and then picks him up off the mat by his throat and then drives him back down with a huge chokeslam. Petey lays motionless as Ace stands over him and says "I tried to tell ya, Pete."Backstage we see Rhino walking in the door to the building, he holds the door for somone, and Heath Miller walks in behind him! Heath says it's good to be here, but they're interrupted by Reno Scum. They trash talk Heath, calling him a loser, when Heath slaps the hell out of Thornestowe. Rhino stands ready to fight behind Heath and tells Reno Scum they'll just see them in the ring later.Match 2 Knockout's Division MatchKylie Rae def. Kimber LeeKimber Lee puts up a good effort, but Kylie is able to lock in an STF for the submission win. Kylie celebrates her win while the new champion, Deonna Purrazzo watches on a monitor from backstage with the title over her shoulder. After a break, The North are interviewed backstage. Page talks about how great they are and that they're the best tag team in the world when The Good Brothers walk up. Gallows says he heard someone talking about being the best tag team and he could have swore they were talking about them. Page says they're old news and The North turn to leave but Motor City Machine Guns are behind them. The North quickly get away from the other two teams and then MCMG and The Good Brothers share a brief stare down before the camera's cut awayMatch 3 Tag Team Match Rhino & Heath Miller def. Reno ScumReno Scum attempted to jump them during their entrance, but Heath and Rhino fought back and the match got underway. Reno Scum tried isolating Heath but he fought them off and made the tag to Rhino who cleared house and then nailed the Gore for the win. Rhino & Heath celebrated the win.
Chris Bey was interviewed backstage by Madison Rayne. She asked him what he thought on the potential of facing an x-division legend in Petey Williams? Bey runs down his accomplishments and how he won the X-Division Championship at Slammiversary. He says Williams is a legend in this division, but he's not Chris Bey.
Don Callis & Josh Matthews reveal that Tommy Dreamer has signed that match for No Surrender. It will be Chris Bey defending the X-Division Championship against "The Ultimate Finesser". It's also announced that Bey will be in action next week.Match 4 Main Event Fatal Fourway Moose def. RVD, Eddie Edwards, & Eric Young Lots of action in the main event. All 4 men nearly had the match won at different points. Eddie nailed a double Boston Knee Party on Young & RVD but was met getting to his feet by a huge Spear from Moose. Moose picks up the win and stands celebrating, running his mouth. He grabs a microphone and says EC3 should have never returned, and that at No Surrender...suddenly the lights go out for a moment, and when they return EC3 is behind Moose! EC3 spins Moose around and nails the TK3, and then picks up the microphone. But before he can speak he is cut off by the music of Mike Bennett! Mike & Maria walk out on the stage and stare into the ring at EC3, while Moose sits in the corner watching both men and looking concerned at all of the new signings.
