Birthday for Arnold coming up later this month so I figured we could discuss his work from the decade that made him. The 70's saw him getting his feet wet with acting (quick shout out to one of my all time favorite movies The Long Goodbye) but man once we hit the 80's, Arnold was on a different level of success. So wrestlingfigs...what is your favorite performance by Arnold in the 80's?

Terminator, easily. I always appreciate these action-flick dudes like Arnold, Stallone and Keanu Reeves. Guys who maybe can't act their heart out, but if it's an action movie with them in it, you know it's gonna be a good time.

Terminator will win and it should. But I went with Predator. Such a great movie!

Went with the Terminator slightly ahead of Predator, but honestly I enjoyed them all except for Red Sonja.

Terminator, he's great as a robot killer & I found him to be scary, maybe even scarier than when he turned into the skeleton shell.

Almost went with Terminator but in the end gave the nod to Predator.I always loved the slow build and then bam! when the Predator strikes sh** really gets going.
Also gotta mention every time I listen to Long Tall Sally I think of this movie.

Commando is arguably the most stereotypical 80s movie to ever come out of the 80s and I love every minute of it.

The best thing to ever come from Arnold are the prank calls people made on YouTube.

Really? No love for Kindergarten Cop? We're going to play a wonderful game called, who is your daddy and what does he do?

Really? No love for Kindergarten Cop? It's not an option in the poll because it's not from the 80's

100% The Terminator.
Terminator 2 is my all time favourite movie, with 1 following shortly behind. I first got into the Terminator in 2006, i remember i was only allowed to watch 2 & 3 since my parents didn't i'd be able to handle the darker, more 'horror' like themes of 1. But once i was allowed to watch 1 (with them around), i loved it, and thought it was just as good as 2. The main reason 2 is my favourite, is because it got me into it & Arnold movies in general.
The Tech Noir scene from 1 is one of, if not my favourite scene in Movie history. It was so well executed, with perfect anticipation, and soundtrack behind it. Especially when Sarah drops the glass, and the T800 happens to pass just as she picks it up.

Predator, but most of Arnold’s 80s flicks are classics.
