Clearly don’t listen to the podcast regularly I wouldn't listen to your podcast if it was the only thing playing on planet earth. Anybody who pumps their chest about going to more Walmarts than someone is a real dork. He can, just let the man do... I haven't listened to all their podcasts, but the ones I've listened to were funny! |

Hawkins is actually pretty cool. Ryder just seems like he looks down on the normal collector, and anybody who calls himself "The Michael Jordan of Figure Collecting" is a punk. Don’t be jealous of someone. It’s a bad look. |

It's really weird that anytime somebody is critical of another, especially when the person being critiqued is of some elevated profile, the default reaction is "oh, you're so jealous".

Because he’s the totally opposite of what this guy says and it comes off as being jealous. The MJ nickname is obviously all in good fun and if you can’t understand that then you probably shouldn’t have internet access. |

The MJ nickname is obviously all in good fun and if you can’t understand that then you probably shouldn’t have internet access. Perception isn't one size fits all. If he sees Cardona as having an air of pompous superiority over the average collector, then that's how he sees it. It's just another flavor of opinion. Equating that to jealousy, while a similar matter of perception, just seems like a really weird conclusion to draw based upon what otherwise comes across as a pretty lukewarm take. It's okay to not like a guy if his personality strikes you as abrasive. |
