Not going to lie that dean ambrose looks really nice. I’m tempted to buy it. I also like the details on his boots (non-timberlands)

That would be a really bad look given that the accessories were shown with all of the figures at Toy Fair and people had presumed up to this point they were going to get what was shown. |

I was really anticipating seeing the final in package image of these figures to get confirmation on the accessories that the figures come with (mainly for Penta, Fenix, and Hangman), and unfortunately my fears were right about Penta and Fenix extra hands and heads were scrapped which really sucks. Yeah the figures look great along with the rest of the set, but why show the accessories with the protos just for it not to come with the finished product. Makes me feel skeptical on the next time they show accessories with their other prototype figures down the road. Hopefully this won't be trend for this line, because I want PAC to come with the extra head, Darby to come with all of his accessories, and especially Orange Cassidy to come with everything that was shown for his figure.
Edit: All the figures again look good though.

That Mox looks really friggin good.
The Hangman is better than I initially thought.
Overall this set is really solid, (MJF aside) and a great improvement over Series 1. That said, like most people mentioned, there's next to no accessories or anything like it. The only two that really stand out with accessories are the two I just mentioned (Mox and Page) and I'm a bit curious as to why the extra hand on Page is so dark.
Still, much progress has been made and, while the only two I really want from this set are, in fact, Jon Moxley and Adam Page, the line in general is a big improvement over the last one.

If they gotta save some budget to ball out with Orange Cassidy, then I’m good with it. I think the set looks great, and I’m anxious and hoping this comes in by the end of the month or early November.

I got the Series 1 Jericho yesterday. Its a fantastic figure but the hands included all feel like they're posed in a way that I can't get any display options out of the figure, if that makes any sense? I posted this in the other Series 2 thread, but I’ll put it here also.
First I am glad I preordered 2 Hangman figures and a MJF.
I do think the skin tones look to be much better than series 1. Series 1 had more of a whiteish yellow tone to them.
As for Hangman’s bandanna unless you have to pop the head off to put it on which would be a pretty dumb design flaw. I would hope that the bandanna has a split in the center of the back of it which would allow for easy on and off capability as well being able to put it as if covering face.
And I am not really surprised that all the “loads of extra accessories” were dropped after wave 1. No way another figure was going to come as loaded as Jericho. But now it looks like my hopes of Sammy, or the rest of the inner circle having the Inner Circle shirt won’t happen (unless it’s a chase) I do wish that they gave two hands for the figures who had an extra had.
They all look good. But besides what I preordered I was only planning on getting Dustin. That said I think I will pick up the Moxley as well.

wow the lack of accessories is alarming. Pentagon could hands down be Figure of the Year contender, but he comes with....a hand. Sure it's a signature hand but where tf is his other hand and head? Likewise what happened to Fenix's open palm hands so he can do some more signature poses? I'm sure this is going to be another - "Oh don't worry we'll do a second run and include those accessories" bit. Disappointing, but still love the figures. Will have to get used to that angled back of the upper torso on MJF, and sadly Hangman still has clown shoes. Oh and a 1 of 500 chase has a t-shirt and two bubbly bottles? It may be cheaper to give U2 Mox a pair of bottles from RSC Jericho and call it a day. I'd much rather they make the chase figures a t-shirt swap like Jericho and Mix than lock a cool attire away so that most of us will never own it. I still hate the chase concept, but if you're going to do it, that's the way. People that love owning something rare can shell out hundreds for a sticker and a t-shirt. The rest of us can collect in peace. |
