Target’s delay approval system has been much smoother for me historically than Amazon’s, for those in that spot. I’ve had several where Amazon keeps asking me and cancels. I got nervous on some Target Marvel preorders I did when they had me do two rounds of approvals but they ended up shipping them very shortly after my second approval. But as I’ve said in other posts in this thread, I typically don’t care about delays as long as I end up getting the item fulfilled.

I just need target to tell me yes im getting it, or no im not. My kid has chronic lung disease due to premature birth. I cant risk the hunt anymore. So i'd rather pay the shallow bay prices now than the steep bay prices later.  |

My Razor came on Thursday and Heenan and regular Valentine came on Friday. I have to hunt the chase down.

My Razor and Heenan came from Pa, and the Hammer is coming from Tuscon Az. Very odd, but I should hopefully have my Hammer this coming Thursday. I hope everyone that wants the Hammer gets it.

My Greg Valentine figures shipped today. We'll see what happens.
I still think it's garbage that these got put on shelves before the pre-orders shipped.
Mattel has made a lot of promises about these exclusive figures, but we'll see if they hold to them.

This whole pre order process worked out great for me, received 2 Valentines last week, 1 regular and 1 chase and then I received the Razor and Heenan today. I know not everyone has been as lucky, but the ability to pre order the Legends 7 from Target and Blassie/Graham off of ringside has made collecting a much more positive experience recently. Thanks to Target, Mattel, Ringside and AFA.

Hopefully they fix this by the time series 2 comes out. All the pre orders should be set aside and packed as soon as they receive the figures. Instead it seemed they got sent out to stores early and sat in the back until release date or were put out early by mistake in some stores.

I ordered immediately after the pre-orders became available. My Heenan and Razor finally shipped today. Hammer still hasn't shipped and it's now giving me a date of August 14th. It's completely ridiculous how this preorder was handled by Target.

My Hammer arrived today so while it was 3 separate shipments, I have now received the whole set from my preorders.

Razor has shipped, should be here Monday
I approved The Hammer delay
But one issue has come up.
My bank is making me change my debit card I used to preorder series 7 & 8 to a new one. I’ve entered a new debit card into my target account made it the primary card.
I hope when (or IF) the Hammer comes in stock and they Finally charge me, it Doesn’t cancel because the card i originally paid with is no longer active.

You can remain ignorant to the truth (despite all the available information to the contrary) all you want, but this is on Target. Once Mattel sends the finished figures to Target, it's their show. The preordering, the shipping, the stocking...all Target. |

His own words on the Ringside Collectibles Q&A: "Exclusives aren't going anywhere. They're here to stay. But as far as availability goes, we want to make sure that these exclusive figures will be as easy to obtain for everyone as possible. So, they're not going to go away. But we're taking a lot of steps to make sure people can get their hands on them." Those are HIS WORDS, NOT MINE. And thus far, I haven't seen it at all. I haven't seen improvement. In fact, the pre-order process was abhorrent. |

Its too risky to go out figure hunting in todays current state for my family. So I order online. My point was Target has canceled on me before, I'd rather know now if I'm going to get it or not, so I can get one elsewhere while prices are still semi low is all. |

What I don't like about pre-ordering is that I can't check and look over the figure before I buy it. I am in good faith trusting that the people on the other end know what they are doing and know how to safely pack and mail them, which they don't always do. And what if you're sent a defective product?

Found the whole set today. Only got Razor for now. Might get Valentine and Heenan another time. Also found a Wrestlemania 22 Mick on sale for $14.
