Why is this dead line still stickied and not the Superstars? Or maybe merge the two threads? JCF Chicago Because its not superstars. Its motwweu. Its different. And merging it with a thread that it isnt would just be odd. To summerise, they are different lines. Not the same. Have a swell christmas 🎄 😊

A lot of us converted MOTWWEU figs into Superstars style and/or use a lot if their parts for customization. Many also who jumped in to this style with Superstars have wanted to go back and grab some MOTWWEU. I’ve seen plenty people asking what MOTWWEU figs work for Superstars. So having the two merge into one continuous thread isn’t really that off the wall considering MOTWWEU is dead with Superstars immediately taking its place.

I would think thats all the more reason to leave them seperate. The superstars thread is constantly covering sightings and purchases, the whole motu side would just die. Besides, we should have enough space and it seems to be working fine?

I mainly just wanted Superstars to be pinned as it made no sense for MOTWWEU to continue to be. Merging them was merely another suggestion since both lines share quite a few similarities.

Yeah. Got that now. Still low-key wanna see Skeletor Vince. Vince could be Hordak, as Hordak was Skeletor's master/mentor. Vince-Man: Evil Horde Higher Power! Can forearms on MOTWWEU figures be swapped such as heating them up without breaking them? Which other figures have the Hordak forearms?

So having the two merge into one continuous thread isn’t really that off the wall considering MOTWWEU is dead with Superstars immediately taking its place. I did not even know this thread existed. For that reason alone i agree with you. But there are many reasons to converge the 2: 1. Motwweu was superstars series 0 or as i call it the test series. 2. As many have stated those of us collecting superstars are now going back and buying these. 3. For either line to continue both needs the support of the other. 4. Customizers for both lines could work together. In the same thread. Double brainpower 5. A larger pool of commentors could create a cult following. The muscle style could catch on and spur on sub-lines (i pointed to this in the superstars thread(conan/rocky/predator and eureka i got it series 4 the A-team!!). Think of it as a funko 2.0 movement.) 6. The popularity of the superstars hangs in the balace as it does not have as many people collecting them (not anyones fault - only because they are so hard to find). So if there is ever to be another motwweu series it most likely depends on if the superstars line is a success. Considering they constantly sell out i believe it is. Anyways just a few reasons it would benefit us all (superstars and motwweu collectors as for many of us we are the same group. Just some food for thought. Do what you will with this thread but i strongly think at least renaming the new superstars thread to include "motu wwe" in the ties after a "/" would help make bulletpoints 1-6 a reality.

Just a little heat and it’s as simple as swapping hands.

I only see sales from third party sellers for them on the website. How much did you pay? You were able to preorder jake? I paid 14.96 or whatever Walmart's price is. I see the third party prices, but if Walmart has one in stock it shows their regular price. Like I said, you have to check frequently (I bookmarked the 'collections' page so they're all listed together), but I guess that's normal these days. And I did preorder Jake. The new ones were all briefly available last week. I haven't seen them available since then, but the figures that have already released go in and out of stock. Popularity seems to be increasing, though, as I haven't seen series 2 and 3 in stock online as often as I did series 1. Good luck in your hunt. I miss out on Elites and exclusives, but I've had luck with this line by checking Walmart.com, seeing my local store's inventory online, and brickseek. Just reading all 20 something pages for first time and realizing now that these were 14.99$ just 3 years ago and now the superstars (motuwwe 2) are 20.99$. I wonder if we will all be paying 26.99 3 more years from now. I wonder when we all say too much is too much for plastic.

These are becoming harder and harder to find. I hope I'm wrong but I have a feeling this line is going to be canceled by Wave 10 (my guess is Wave 8 will be the last). By far one of the most exciting lines Mattel has done yet in my opinion, but it is Mattel, after all. No offense to them, but as most of us know none of their sub-lines ever last very long. I dont see this one being the exception. I do hope they keep it going though. The possibilities are endless and once these are done they will probably be impossible to get on ebay for the prices they will be going for. Mainly Warrior, Kane, Piper, savage Warrior, piper and kane together cost less than a haircut now. Unfortunately when a line gets cancelled so too does interest. Sadly for the superstars if that is considered a sub-line than it too wont continue past this andre series which incidentally is also series 8. Just curious if you are collecting the superstars today and if you think the same will happen to that line. Hopefully by wrestlemania we will know what happens next. I’m honestly not expecting it to hang around too much longer either. Each store seems to get one or two cases of each wave, and I’ve just happened to get lucky finding them as they’ve put them out. (I didn’t even see the Mr. T wave on pegs, just found a sealed box on a pallet full of all four of them). I’m glad I have everything released in the line so far, but you’re right - it’s becoming a huge pain to find if you don’t randomly get lucky. sounds a lot like the superstars l8ne now. I only picked up series 4 that way and hoping i will be able to pick up the non anchors of s6 and s7 that way too This video came up on my feed this morning . Interesting . I guess Mattel will not own the Masters license come 2023. So I think we’ll get as many waves as they can do in the next 2 years I hope it stays going strong. Steve said last month that this line will end eventually. That's probably a no-brainer, but it sounded to me, the way he said it, like he knew it would be ending soon. Probably not in the next few months, maybe not even this year, but I can see it winding down soon. I sure do hope I'm wrong though. This is one of my favorite sub-lines Mattel has ever done for WWE. Running a close 2nd only to Retros. While i am glad that steve has not mentioned anything like this for the superstars line, if mattel wont have the heman line than origins is in its last days. Has anyone been able to ascertain if there is some truth to that video?

Has anyone been able to ascertain if there is some truth to that video? It's not true. Mattel has He-Man and will continue to. The maker of that video used to work for Mattel and was the brand manager for Masters of the Universe, but now he has an axe to grind and that's a big part of his videos (he knows what gets people watching).

Yeah he’s been predicting their breakup for years now. Mattel has announced product for MOTU into next year as well as launching new lines like the TMNT crossover and figures based on the Filmation series.

Just bought almost a complete loose set of these off from a local on Facebook marketplace. Paid $250 for every figure except the last wave. Also included both rings that were released.

Funny how people perceive things different but I’ve never had the impression he has an ace to grind? I’m not sure how he left if it was amicable etc and tbh none of my business. He has mentioned often he had to work on classics in his own time and I thought that was a noble thing.

How do Triple H, Cena, Origins Tri-Klops, and He-Man skin tones compare?

How do Triple H, Cena, Origins Tri-Klops, and He-Man skin tones compare? He-Man is definitely darker than Cena, and I'm pretty sure he is darker than Triple H, too. Tri-Klops probably is, too, but I haven't actually checked with a headswap.
